Nope, I'd take a 10 point scorer over any defensive player any night, so that was a bit of an extreme exaggeration. But in all seriousness, how can you say "Malkin would be a nobody" when he lead the league in scoring (not on Crosby's line most of the time), and DOMINATING the league when Crosby was injured in the previous season? EDIT: also, malkin and "non playoff team" don't belong in the same sentence

Ah, but I didn't say it was just getting beaten by them that made it a pathetic loss, it was the fact that they disappointed their fans and didn't give anbody their money's worth.

I didn't know having something against him meant hating him either. Go figure. Anyway, yeah, Malkin is on their level, Leading the league in points isn't easy. When he falls back to the 80-90 point region I'll say they're better than him, but for right now, he's just as much an allstar as Ovechkin and Crosby. He doesn't get the spotlight in the media because (much like Semin) doesn't speak to much English.

Eh, Malkin's either controlling the game or barely noticeable. Tonight was Crosby's night but it could have easily been Malkin with the hat trick.

Apparently he watches film of his missed scoring opportunities and reenacts them at practice the next day, weird, but guess it's been working for him

Yeah it was triple overtime. Pretty awesome game, but I only got to watch the overtime periods. Caps and Penguins tonight should be pretty fun, just read on NHL.com that Crosby was practicing hitting empty nets from 4 feet away.

You're not that different that's what volo predicted. All the caps love has me really worried now as if I did not have enough to worry about. yeah, i wasn't talking about specifically this forum, just what i've been hearing from people
