  1. I'm from Pittsburgh - a drinking* city with a football problem. *Second drunkest city in the U.S., right behind Milwaukee.
  2. What? It's not as if it's classified. Fact is, sure Bill can say he tried. But we don't need to hear his excuses or rationalizations, or how we should all read **** Clark's book. And we definitely don't need him claiming Bush didn't do enough to prevent 9/11 when he let Bin Laden get away himself. Crap like this doesn't help our situation at all. We need people to just take responsibility for their actions and stop blaming others. Bill tried, but he screwed it up. Bush tried harder, he screwed it up.
  3. Sheesh...this from the idiot who dropped the ball when it came to Bin Laden and is one of the reasons for 9/11 happening in the first place. Typical liberal bull****. What sickened me is how he tried to rationalize and make pathetic excuses for his actions while dodging the point, as usual. And as for those individuals who have the nerve to call Fox news unfair...well they obviously haven't read the New York Times. This is nothing new. He's done this ever since 9/11. Sure he 'precided' over a great economy but he made many blunders when it came to our own homeland security. Not that old Bushie is any better, but at least he had the guts to get his hands dirty in Afghanistan before going on his little tour of Iraq. Great man? Yeah right.

6 months a year? Wow... Up here we really don't get that much snow, but we do get a lot of cold temperatures. There have been times when we wouldn't have temperatures above 30 degrees F for weeks. Also our winters tend to run into late march and even April, then suddenly the temperatures will skyrocket.
  5. Okay, maybe not all that funny. But I got a chuckle out of it.
  6. Hey, nice! Is that just a desktop pic, or a desktop theme you can download? Um, my desktop is too boaring to post at the moment.
  7. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry at some of the above statements in this thread. I'll just go for neither.
  8. I agree, except I would include 'donut' jokes in that point as well.

I got you beat. One guy in my grade was 6' 10". But he was also pretty dang lanky. I hate being medium-height. <_< 5' 8". Could be worse, though.
  13. Not even me?
  14. " Honestly if you're going to make a point, don't use such pathetically weak examples. Even more, don't keep ignoring facts when they're repeatedly thrown at you. Though judging by your previous posts, I can see that's not much of a concern for you.
  15. *Pulls Hades off, punches him in the face, and turns back to Krookie* Good to see you again. Hope your mom's doing alright.
  16. I said mostly regional.
  17. I'm probably stating the obvious here, but I don't think this is so much a faith problem as a regional problem. If you look at past events, most of the violent protests came from the ME, from nations which still lag behind much of the western world socially and technologically. Let's face it, many of these nations and govs still live in the dark ages. Many already suspect some of the protests were staged or 'encouraged' by the corrupt governments preciding over said nations. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But most Muslims are normal people like you and I who just want to live their lives. We didn't have that problem in the U.S., so I'd be more than willing to bet that this is a cultural issue more than anything else.
  18. Ahem. *points to sig* Wait, back up. What are you trying to say? You just said that was the only reason, then say it's only partly true. Which is it? No one important. Just a really annoying guy from Ames, Iowa.
  19. Who are you? Anyway, that's only partly true.
  20. What are you saying? It's still Mary and it's still considered sacred. Are you actually saying what's done is okay and perfectly acceptable? That it's okay because it's common?
  21. It is a sacrilege to make a picture of Muhammed. Comparing it to making picture of Jesus is just totally misguided. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know that. Ever here of 'piss Christ'? That's sacrilege too. And yet, there still was not a violent global reaction to that.
  22. Have you been living under a hole the past year, or are you making things up on purpose? First off, if you're referring to the Islamic upheave against the Danish-drawn characatures of Muhammad, those were drawn as a satire from those who probably make fun of many groups of people, even Christians, which happens here in the good ol' US as well. And I don't know what you're trying to imply by the following. From the way you're saying, you make it sound as if the Muslim's behavior was justified and they're just the poor helpless victims being brutalized by the big bad west. Are you ever going to get out of this neo-hippy fantasy world of yours? This is actually very different than what the Christians did to the Jews. What they did is the ultimate form of hypocrisy, given many of those same people routinely bash Christianity and the West as being the great satan of this world. You see Christianity and Jesus being poked fun of all the time in western society, and yet no time have we ever had such a violent global reaction to such a trivial thing. What they did was uncalled for and only shows how far behind much of Islamic society still is from the rest of the world. Yes, it is the Muslims' fault for reacting so violently to just a few drawings lampooning Muhammad. Yes, it is their fault for being hypocritical. No, they are not just the poor helpless victims here. And NO, the west did go out and kill the poor helpless Muslims after their reaction to the cartoons. I don't know where in the hell you pulled that from. You seem to be the kind of person who'd blame 9/11 on the west, given some of your previous statements. I hope I'm wrong on that. Remember 9/11? How about 3/11 for those who live in Spain? Or 7/11 for those who live in India? Or how about the 9/11-esque plot exposed in Great Britain just recently? No, those aren't armies invading countries. But people are dying all the same. That enough for you? Or shall I post others? Or maybe it's just more acceptable for you for Americans to die instead?
  23. Why do I get the distinct impression of a pot calling a kettle black? I'm just surprised you didn't resort to usual "I don't use logic anyway, so don't listen to me." tactic. Which is just your last resort whenever you're about to lose an argument. For your information, people generally 'insulted' your point of view because in pretty much every argument you've proven unable to do so with reason and maturity. Or maybe you can and just choose not to. And fer cryin out loud, just let the stupid bunny die already. As for Bush, well, the chances of seeing him impeached are miniscule. So don't get your hopes up.
