  1. I know the basics, meaning I instinctively know things like G major followed by E minor sounding more natural than if it is followed by E major. But if you have deeper knowledge, such as diminished chords in a major key, I'm not entirely sure if that helps or hurts. I suppose you're right, though, that it is useful and something you can try, and if it doesn't work, change it.
  2. I'm sober, but working on it. Perhaps wisest to have a temporary cease-fire. :D
  3. I would say that Finland is generally considered part of Scandinavia. Sure, Finnish is a language alien to the other Scandinavian languages, but they have a Scandinavian cross flag and they have a very long association with Sweden. In Sweden we have the saying "Finlands sak
  4. I have the Fashion Nugget album, which I really like. I also like your avatar!
  5. Well, it seems I don't have a choice now... It's Friday, though, so we'll see when I get in the mood to look up the info.
  6. Deary me, Kumquatq got really serious with this! We're only here for some healthy flaming after all, not a full day-time job.
  7. Only for a Swede. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, "only" for every non-Dane on the planet.
  8. It can be a good thing to face the Avalanche immediately. We've had a couple of dodgy results, so a win the night after the Flames loss could make us bounce back.
  9. And that's the entire list. :D So you wouldn't appreciate peaceful, untainted land of any (well) choice? I'm from the big city and I know I do.
  10. We'll have to play a lot better than our last two games if we're going to last in the World Cup. I think we got a little more than (never-to-be-independent) Scania... "
  11. Alfred Nobel was Swedish. I have already explained how Sweden as a country has more to offer in terms of landscape and terrain. Swedish girls are famous for their beauty (and rightly so I might add); Danish aren't. I could go on.
  12. Like I said we waited too long. We were back some 50 years later, when you, Poland/Saxony and Russia attacked us. If I recall correctly you were quickly forced into submission, but got brave again when we started losing thanks to other countries' efforts. Gustav Vasa became regent as early as 1521 and was crowned King in 1523. After that the days of bullying a backward country were definitely over for you. Both sides have won battles, while Sweden have won the wars and the spoils.
  13. A big problem is that KotOR2 seemed to be more about changing the story of KotOR1 than telling its own story. It was set as a continuation of Revan's story, but added zilch to Revan as it went along. All they did was say "Well, this is what really happened in that story that someone else told, and then Revan went to fight the True Sith". They talk so much about Revan and what he had done when in fact he didn't have much to do with the story; only the backstory to KotOR2 involved Revan and they made the mistake to mess around with an already told story. KotOR2 was more about backstory than story, and in the process they rewrote a very popular one. Oh, and making Revan a greater-good-Sith was immensely alien to Star Wars, but might as well just have been more Kreia bollocks. She wasn't very Star Warsy herself, after all.
  14. Have you ever had concrete use for this kind of knowledge? I'm asking this seriously, as I suspect such knowledge would be more of an obstacle than a tool when composing music.
  15. I'm not so fond of Dantooine. Just a load of grass and boring music. On the first playthrough all planets are fun, but then some get old and some don't. Dantooine falls into the former category.
  16. Wow, someone wants to stick his chin out. Not good enough to warrant a bite, though... From anyone.
  17. Why? I'm ready for when the bullets start flying.
  18. Since the Melissa thread got closed because of derailment (what kind of an excuse is that anyway?), I never got the chance to respond to the Danish arguments spawned from poisoned minds. Please note that this topic isn't necessarily for Scandinavians to participate in, just as long as we flame each other, and also just as long as we do not do this with serious intent. So, like I said in the other thread as regards Denmark's owning Sweden: If you claim ownership of a retard, you are the one who will look stupid when he turns the odds around. I cannot stress this enough. And the Danes never conquered Stockholm with military force. When you tried, Sten Sture d.
  19. If you walk up to a retard and claim you are his master, you're the one who is going to look silly when he turns the odds around. Well, that would be it. Denmark's closer than Germany.
  20. Volvo is Swedish too. Danes don't like Swedes because we have owned them in like nine wars out of ten between our countries (and we're talking quite a few wars here) and because Sweden is bigger, better and more beautiful. You can't really compare a diverse country like Sweden (it's very much like Canada, in fact!) with a big flat airfield like Denmark, eh? The Danes also have a hard time accepting that they mostly understand Swedish, while Swedes don't understand Danish. Perhaps they find it arrogant. Swedes don't care about Danes. As for Finland, I believe you were an obedient part of Sweden up until 200 years ago, when the big bear in the east finally (after like a thousand years or whatever) got the better of us (and, thusly, you).
  21. You obviously haven't been to Sweden.
