  1. Eh, they can take their time. I'm not in any sort of rush, and besides, my PC needs just about every new PC cards in order to play the ****ing thing anyway. I just wish I knew how to mod my damn Xbox that way I could download mods and wouldn't have to worry about which button does what when I play the PC version.
  2. Hmm, well if it's anything like the GS, it should give you some items that aren't normally available in the game(IE: Revan's robes), that's assuming it DOES work. That is interesting, I wonder what it would be like to have 100 Strength in the game. Thanks for the (Semi-)explanation, Tale.
  3. Eh, the Xbox version is kinda buggy, plus you can only go above your head, it isn't like the K1 'Free Roam' camera, unfortunately. Are you refering to the first person camera mode you enter when hitting caps or clicking the left thumb stick. No, the Free Roming camera. The FP camera is fine, it's the FR camera that's crap on Xbox. The K1 FR was the best, IMHO.
  4. Hey all, I was wondering, is the "Action Replay" system is compatible with Kotor 2 on the Xbox? And if so, has anyone used it yet? From what Ive read, it's sounds like a way you can actually put mods on the Xbox game or are able to get items you can't normally acquire. Any help is appreciated.
  5. Revan would just smash a giant ancient space artifact into Nihil's beatup flying dutchman And how would he do this? Revan's no god, and we have nothing to assume he has that kind of power, except that from fallible sources. Unless LF or LA publishes a canon book that says he's that powerful, he's doesn't have that kind of power.
  6. @DeathScepter: Uh, no offense, but Kreia isn't exactly the best source for Revan's power, nor did she mention ANYTHING about Revan being more powerful than Nihilus, infact, I believe that based on the evidence, only someone like the Exile, Sidious or DE and beyond Luke Skywalker(Both he and Sidious knew a rare Fallanassi technique which would literally take them out of the Force but still retain their powers, much like the Exile's power) would have a chance at defeating Nihilus. Anyone else would probably be drained, including Revan.
  7. Pretty much the same here. I always start a new game on K1 intending to go to the Darkside, but I can never go through with it.
  8. Not really. I think it adds alittle more flavor to it. Too bad we missed out on it in K2, considering there were so many options.....

  10. No. There was one group that was attempting this, but there was so much missing that they couldn't complete it. Man, how I'd love to kick Jim Ward in the nuts right now...
  11. Agreed. 'Obey the orders' my ass. **** the orders, I'd rather be dishonorably discharged for disobeying them then leave behind a comrade that I have the chance to save. BTW The guy who voices Carth voiced Scorch, not Fixer.
  12. Not really. Atleast in K1, you got to learn more about the characters and got to do their side-quests to make them more interesting. K2 didn't even have that.
  13. I wouldve preferred Fixer being taken instead of the badass that is the Sevster. Never liked Fixer anyway...
  14. Luke Skywalker , Darth Sidious(NEC and EU state they're the most powerful of both Jedi and Sith respectively.), Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu. And enough with this 'Revan is powerful' crap! Jesus, we hardly even know the guy, let alone what power he wields(Gameplay doesn't count in canon) or how skilled he was with a saber!
  15. I'd suggest emailing LA. It's not like e-mailing a big ass group of people is some taxing undertaking. Oh, and to whom it may concern, Make KOTOR III. Please! Love, Jane Doe P.S. My son is terminally ill with koytoriosis of the limbs and brain. The day after we found out, he mustered the strength to place his crusty little hand on mine and whisper in a very weak and deathly desperate voice, "Mommy, I want to play KOTOR III before I become one with the Force". "You will son" I wept and promised him as I wiped the blood-filled tears from his eyes. Please, help me keep the promise I made to my only child (the only thing I have left to remind me of my late husband). Poor little guy. He keeps his spirits so high. For example, just last week when the doctors came in and told him they were going to have to amputate he just smiled and said, "Just like Luke Mommy". "We'll, actually the koytoriois has spread from just your hand in the past few days and you'll be more like Anakin, I'm afraid" the doctor chuckled. "The whole arm then?" he shouted as if he had just won a prize. "Ohhh. No, I'm afraid, I meant Episode III Anakin. Vader if you like." the doctor laughed. But even that didn't get him down. It wasn't until he realized he wouldn't be able to play KOTOR III with his own hands that he wanted to kill himself (thank goodness they had already taken his arms and legs by then--no wrists to slit). Just yesterday he told me he couldn't hold on much longer but that he would summon the strength to hold on till it's released if he only knew it was in production. I was hoping for just a hint. Just to lift his spirits. Just so he knows how long he's going to have to battle. ^Guarantee ya' they'll spill the beans on who's making it or if it's even in production after reading that.
  16. Good luck to you. I don't really think it's possible, unless you can get all the original V.O actors back(Which would be damn near impossible, unfortunately) to say the romance dialogue CLEARLY(You'd probably have to have a sound studio, or a quiet room with one hell of a voice recorder), then it would be a simple matter of giving your PC the words to trigger the actions. Not to put you or your project down, but it's simply impossible.
  17. Palpatine's failure was that he wasn't subtle enough. I have to disagree. I believe Palpatine's arrogance, ignorance and overconfidence was more his downfall than him not being subtle enough. Look no farther than ROTJ, he was so confident that he knew the future and that he would bend Luke to his will and that he couldn't be denied nor defeated, that he didn't see that he couldve been wrong and that the revelation that Luke was Vader's son aswell as Luke's pleas, could sway him away from Palpatine's influence long enough to destroy Palpatine. Why? Like I stated above.
  18. No. Well, somewhat, but if you have more Influence with Visas than you do the Handmaiden, then both you and Handmaiden will fight ans she won't talk to you for the entirety of the game. Unfortunately, Obsidian never got around to installing romance options for either Mira, Handmaiden or Visas.
  19. I'm with Shryke, it'll be done when it's done. Besides, remember what happened when LA rushed it? I'd rather wait a few more months for a (semi)bug-free game than a rushed one with more bugs than the Florida Everglades.
  20. Sorry I haven't replied, been busy lately. Damn. Alright, I'll go see if they can tell me what you mentioned above. Thanks Hass. EDIT: Fixed! Thanks for your help everyone! :D
  21. Nope, just a regular ol' Xbox. And as for the status report, deleting all previous save games hasn't helped.
  22. Ouch. Sounds like he had some fun. Interesting. Yeah, DS was a load of crap. I remember just barely getting through Chap 1 before quitting and selling it to some bookstore. True, I suppose, though I would think it would be pretty easy for Palpatine to overpower the spirit of a host who was weaker than him or had little to no connection to the Force at all. Yeah, that was my point-Palpatine was the first Lord of the Sith for a thousand years who didn't have to worry about hiding himself from the Jedi. No doubt he was free to indulge himself in some of the more powerful techniques that the Sith had developed over the years-techniques that would have probably been hard if not impossible to hide from the Jedi had they been used before. He could have invented these powers himself, but it would be more logical to assume that at least some of his tricks were invented, but never used, by other Sith Lords. True, I suppose. I guess we'll never really know until someone comes along at LF and makes a novel about Palpatine's backstory. Until then, it's pretty much speculation, at best.
  23. I know, I'm just saying is all. I have to agree with you on that. The Post-ROTJ series has gone downhill ever since DE ended. Now it's turned into an overpowering fest where you assume they'll make Luke able to create Jesus Christ himself with a flick of his wrist. I hate the Vong aswell. Agreed, though I more a Marvel and Batman fan, than Star Trek, though Trek's alright.
