well, at least they own up to these "tactical" decisions. something to be said for that. something better could be said about a weekly screenshot or a development blog, but oh well. As for Fall 2015, according to the great and mighty Google began September 23, and ends December 21st. I expect a December 20th release then, and to be neglecting my family and friends while playing this app over Christmas this year. Strange, I never thought of summer reaching all the way to September 23rd, and certainly not Fall almost reaching Christmas day, but there it is. Perhaps that's because central Texas stays a miserable 90+ degrees all the way through mid-October. One specific question to close out - class decks feature some of the same characters as the base game. The base game characters had some balance issues (some being OP, some being impotent) - which version will the app feature? base, class deck, or both eventually? I'll assume silence means we're getting the original text of the character cards in Rise of the Runelords - the completely broken versions of Sajan and Lini, and the mostly broken version of Merisiel.

What TrueNeurtral said. There is a whole process to it. The game is looking awesome and you'll all be very pleased when we get to show you more. The team is also incredibly excited to show you what they've been working on. Any of us posting something is because we want to interact with you in anyway we can, even though it might not be with the treasure trove of screenshots that we wish we could. It will happen, though! Patience young Padawans. we could always have a sing-along while we wait. It could even be PACG-relevant. Join in if you know the tune... *ahem* Poog say Zarongel is the best...

give up man, the rest of us did. apparently cutting and pasting a screenshot is 15 seconds they can't be bothered to spare once a week. to be fair, it's probably not the dev team's fault. If Obsidian is like most any other game company, they're probably producing this app with half the required personnel and working them six twelves or more. the only part of this whole process that truly annoyed me is that it takes the same amount of time to post a screenshot as it does a stupid GIF, and we saw plenty of those.

do you miss...

actually, this was probably one of the most super helpful (read, informative) posts I've seen since this forum's inception. thanks. for myself, I could care less about the class deck and organized play structure. When I mentioned class decks before, what I really meant is that I wanted the choices of all the different characters (and was willing to pay for it). Whether I could export a character from one game to the next or participate in organized play online mattered very little to me. I expect to play this game 1P or with a known group of 2-3 friends (assuming async multiplayer is an option - I can see that being difficult with blessings and other effects without a lot of scripted actions - e.g. option to "always allow" other party members to trigger my blessings/weapon effects/etc. on their turn.) -
and if you get tired of looking at GIFs, there's always Armello and Chasm, and all sorts of other great stuff that actually gets released, and provides useful/interesting content updates. For an example of what this forum *should* look like: James Daily Devlog on Chasm (Discord Games) http://discordgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=191&sid=c1739a20c2200a9a3d5d24b92e102916 but yeah, you know...GIFs are professional too...and make me want to buy stuff...

GenCon!

If this app never gets the class decks, I'm going to cry 37-year old geek-tears I need this app. Still love the game, but the lengthy setup process and card fiddling grows wearisome. I would pour literally hundreds of dollars into this app if it were to eventually encompass all the add-on decks and different campaigns- 14 replies

What's this Mummy's Mask you speak of - got a link to that? (in tabletop format, I presume) https://twitter.com/monkeyking/status/602319523446796288 So picking that one up. Love all things Egypt-y. Still...a tiny rant...I wish they would tweak the game formula a little bit - add some concept of gold, or different leveling/multi-classing mechanics, factions...something to make it feel a little more like an RPG. Especially factions.

Nathan/Llaney - what can you tell us about expansions, particularly class decks? Of course I'm assuming (there's that word again) - that the base characters, add-on deck, and all 6 adventure decks will be available at or near the launch date. I don't like the base game characters though. Much of the joy of playing PACG:ROTR is that I have 28 different characters to choose from with all my class decks, and apparently 16 more waiting in the wings come September when four more decks are released. blah blah rant....so here are my two questions: - The base game characters had their content changed (read, improved) when they were re-released in the class decks. Will we see the original characters in the app, or the revised versions? - which expansions/IAPs are already in the works, and which ones are "let's see how the game sells first?"

lose as in run out of time in the blessings deck, or lose as in die? One has much more drastic consequences than the other. I always felt like if you actually died in RotR, then you took an unnecessary risk exploring when you shouldn't have. We had to repeat a few scenarios (including one embarrassing incident on The Poison Pill while we were still learning) - but never died.
