    What does that even mean?
  2. I've forgotten how to link to my steam screenshots.
  3. I don't see why a dialogue expansion would be a rotten thing, per se. Anyone shrieking 'this should have been in the game to start with' might just as wlel have said that bout the guns. And they'd be just as retarded. Actually, now I think about it, surely more dialogue would make sense? Particularly given the interplay between some joinable NPCs and the various DLC. You already have dialogue options added after visiting the Sierra Madre. You could send the mutant to Zion to pick flowers, or that godawful scientist chap to big MT. Or regale Rose with novel drinks collected on your travels... the possibilities are pretty much endless.

Always sucks to be a merc:
  5.
  6. I've been following the discussion for the last few pages and had a couple of thoughts: 1. Having a DLC which just appeals to a market subsection is perfectly sound business sense, and I have no objections artistically. If I did I would just not buy it. 2. I wonder how many forum members would be complaining if there were a DLC which only added more roleplaying chats? 3. If I could choose a single weapon for DLC it would be an engine which modified my favourite weapon in some way which reflected how I used it. So it became 'the courier's' sequoia/pumpshotgun/varmint rifle. With a bonus improvement if the weapon was 'vanilla' to start with. Tweak the sheen a little, maybe alter the grips? Decrease reolads, target specific damage, a bigger boom noise?
  7. Just a thought though, Grom. But isn't the constitution designed around a weak EVERYTHING?

    Daily Mash.
  9. because if he evolved to deal with that particular issue then his superhero name would be Crackerwhacker.
  10. Got to agree. Christ. Just think. We'll be the facebook generation rather than the Woodstock generation. I hate you facebook bastards, I really do.
  11. I don't know what thescutle is over your end, but over here the papers are saying that even hardcore Republicans are, like, 'WTF?' I think this may be the apotheosis of the celebrity politician culture. Candidates have to have zero weaknesses in their backstory. With the inevitable consequence that the only people who get to the front are the kind of madmen with no weaknesses in their backstory.
  12. In fairness to the Fenians, I'd call that one a no score draw.
  13. From what I understand, NJ guv' just declared a state of emergency not long ago. edit: voluntary evacuations for pretty much all shore areas. Holy clagnuts! Hope you guys are going to be OK.

LOL I guess I looked like I over-reacted. And hence to me it looked like you did. My point wasn't that the rebels are the 7th armoured division. My point is that accusing an enemy army of being rats in North africa hasn't terribly successful precedents. Nothing more.
  15. *stretches* *thinks: Stretching is great. I haven't had a good stretch in ages. I wonder wh...* SNA-CRUNCH *thinks: Oh yes, that's right. I have airfix ribs*
  16. I'd have thought it would give poor performance, but on balance I'd believe the other posts more.
  17. Wow, all star team you're building here.

That's the Desert Rats shoulder patch from, you know, way back when Brits actually fought fascism. I think the reference is in kinda poor taste... And I think it's in even poorer taste to accuse us of not risking lives to fight dictators. Or does it hurt that your own country panicked and ran in the face of terrorist intimidation? Why not whitewash the whole of WW2 as a defence of Empire, come to that? We weren't fighting fascism at all. We were only in it for the rubber plantations.
  19. I think Junai organised Bin Laden's killing to cheer himself up. Prove me wrong.
  20. Thta's because the 'authorisation' when you placed the order is the one used to process the order. What?
  21. All I'll say Cal, is 400 YEARS it took us to pacify Wales. That's a heap of calming down.

That's not a conspiracy, you buffoon. What kind of conspiracy has people waving INDIAN FLAGS? It's a mistake.
  23. I certainly agree with Gromnir that referencing has got much more difficult to do well - in the eyes of normal people. For most people these days, the notion of going to an actual library is anathema.
  24. Aren't you from California? Anyways, today I lit a candle to wish Steve Jobs a happy retirement. May death come swiftly to his enemies (except Bill Gates[he dies slowly]) If you've any spare candles, bung my enemies in as well, would you. i'll return the favour some day.
