The most useless character

LOL, poor GO-TO got my vote too! -
Yeah, my vote goes for the unlisted "Orange"

One of those was at my local grocery store. They put it up for auction on Ebay.

Korriban was my favorite in KOTOR I because of the Tombs (which should have been a bit better, IMO) and because of that horizon few of the vast barren mountains. However, in KOTOR II, Korriban was too short and crappy. Dxun and Onderon was my favorite planet in KOTOR II.

Should Tatooine and/or Kashyyk be in KotOR 3

Yeah Korriban was much better in KOTOR I then it was in KOTOR II. The planet is BIGGER. Lets so more old tombs in addition to a Sith Academy. -

That would be funny. But it seems it would work more for a new series, not KOTOR III. Such as KOTNR, where in Episode I your PC has a kid with an NPC. THen in Episode II that NPC shows up with the kid. Or it could just show up at the end of Episode I of the new series. -

Yeah it would be nice to have bigger battles, ala Episode II: AOTC. The battle of Kunda is KOTOR II on Dantooine was small and could be slow and glitchy at times. But with the new power of the next-gen consoles it might be feasible. -

While I like all of the planets in KOTOR I & II, I want to see all new planets. Mostly Outer Rim planets and the Capital of the Republic. I want the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to definetly be in KOTOR III. The temple itself should somewhat resemble the Temple in Episodes I - III, but it would need to be different since this series takes place 4000+ years before. The only only area & planet that I would want to return would be the Jedi Academy on Telos. Maybe new areas of Onderon, Dxun, and Korriban since they are Sith related. -

Here are my ideas expanding on the subject of Master/Padawan and Master/Apprentice: Lightside: If the PC is training to become a Jedi and does something EVIL and your Master is present then he/she will comment on that evil deed and the PC will lose influence with his/her Master. Then after losing too much influence and gaining 25-50% darkside, your Master will confront you. The PC would have the choice to slay his Master to continue down the path of the darkside forgoing his Jedi training or submitting to your Master's views and be admonished with Jedi Code teachings to regain lightside points. Darkside: If the PC is training to become a Sith and does something GOOD and your Master is present then he/she will comment on that good deed and the PC will lose influence with his/her Master and get punished with lightning and/or choked! Then after losing too much influence and gaining 25-50% lightside, your Master will try to kill you! The PC would have the choice to defend himself/herself and turn to the lightside of the Force or submit to your Master and take severe punishment with a loss of a limb for your failure and regain darkside points! Comments? -

Yesterday, June 6th, an interview was taken with the president of LucasArts, Jim Ward, over at Boomtown. In it he discusses the future of LucasArts games, including Star Wars. Some of the highlights include wanting to make more story driven games instead of button mashing games (reminds me of KOTOR I & II). He also wants to see more games that involves character development (again remeinds me of KOTOR I & II). Also, he mentions that LucasArts is currently working on another Star Wars game for one of the next-gen consoles (not revealed). See the whole interview for yourselves here: http://pc.boomtown.net/en_uk/articles/art.view.php?id=8387 Now this gives new hope for a KOTOR III. -

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the crystals grow? But I see your point. There should more caverns spread out across the galaxy to find crystals instead of buying them from merchants. And these crystals should be hard to get, in that the main PC has to earn the crystals by defeating dangerous beasts, not some lame laigreks, etc. Speaking of crystals, I thought that the personal crystal in KOTOR II was awesome and I would hope to see its return in KOTOR III. And instead of having someone else tune the crystal, use a meditation chamber to do this (as many people have suggested in this multi-part thread). Visas had her chamber, we want ours! -
In both ls and ds endings, I fought through the ending by myself.

I don't see how or why Kamino should appear in KOTOR III. Unless there is a reason for the cloners to somehow be involved in the plot of the KOTOR series. Which I don't see how they could. -

Well first of all Star Wars is NOT over. George Lucas is allowing his universe to continue through the Expanded Universe (EU). There is going to be another animated series (similar to Clone Wars) and a live action series (similar to Star Trek). In addition, Star Wars novels are scheduled to continue through 2008/2009 and beyond. Finally, there will always be Star Wars video games because they make money. Long live the Force! -
im a master of the light but my team r evil!

Whoa. How far into the game are you? And have you been losing influence with all of your party members? When you lose influence your allies alignment will shift the opposite way. -
My KOTOR III idea (light spoilers)
Echo_Drive replied to Baelzharon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
This would be awesome for a Star Wars RPG, like the KOTOR series, since you can continue adventures in future games. However, I don't know if they can do it for KOTOR III. In EA's NCAA Football and Madden Football you could bring in a player that you created in the college game and draft him onto your professional team. But they had seperate save files to accomplish this feat. I just don't know if it's possible for developers of KOTOR III to rip the character information and inventory from a save game. It might be possible. Maybe it just wouldn't work for this series. But I would like to see the character importing feature in a new series, such as Star Wars: Knights of the New Republic (which I hope someone makes). Then you would play game 1 as a Padawan. Play game 2 as a Jedi Knight. Finish the saga as a Jedi Master. That would be a great feature with the next-gen consoles coming out soon. -
Where will #3 take place?
Echo_Drive replied to Jarlaxle 56's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In KOTOR 2: TSL, we actually do get a brief glimpse of Coruscant. Spoilers: Regardless though, we want MORE! We want to see the ENTIRE Jedi Temple. Granted, it would be somewhat different than the Jedi Temple in Episodes 1-3 because KOTOR takes place long before it. -

First time poster here, but I've been posting about KOTOR III over at IGN. Here are a few general ideas for KOTOR 3: ============================== A Force Sensitive travels to Coruscant in hope of being trained to become a Jedi. Upon arrival, the Jedi Temple is empty due to the Jedi Civil War. This Force Sensitive wanders the temple and finds several Holocrons made by Jedi Masters. Using these mysterious artifacts the Force Sensitive begins to train himself/herself to use the Force. Using the Jedi Archives, the Force Sensitive learns of the Jedi and the Sith and the ensuing wars between the two factions of Force users. Upon learning how to make a lightsaber the spirit of a dead Jedi Master reveals itself to the Force Sensitive and charges him with finding his Padawan, who is now a Jedi Master. And so the Force Sensitive sets out to find this Jedi Master who can take him/her on as a Padawan/Apprentice. This journey will eventually take him/her into the Outer Rim where Revan and the Exile are located. After being detached from his/her Jedi Master (either by slaying him or dies at the hands of a Sith), the Force Sensitive finds an Apprentice to train in the ways of the Force to conquer the growing threat located in the Outer Rim. Some things that I would like to see in KOTOR 3: ================================== 1.) Better character customization (more races, background info such as home planet, etc.) 2.) Hooded robes 3.) Unique lightsaber handles and hilts (which along with KOTOR2 lightsaber would make the saber complete). 4.) Rare holocron artifacts that teach powerful force powers/techniques not taught anywhere else. (Hard to find items) 5.) Ability to have a Padawan/Apprentice 6.) New planets, temples, ruins, and exotic locale to explore. 7.) Fewer party members or the ability to choose from dozens of different NPCs. 8.) Realistic darkside temptations. 9.) A better romanctic sub-plot, like in KOTOR 1 with Bastila. 10.) And of course the return of the personal lightsaber crystal.
