  1. The one thing I'm hoping it's not gonna be like is Chrono Cross, where you could get 40 characters (I know it wouldn't be that much in this game, but still) and when you're in an area whichever character you had would just say the same thing as any of the other ones, with little backstory of differentiation...
  2. ....Hmm, I just looked on the site and I swear she's blonde...
  3. ...I'd hate to see what you'd do in real life
  4. I'll be pissed if they don't include Yuthura. Her character was begging to be in the sequel.
  5. Did you guys like Yuthura from Kotor 1?? A lot??
  6. I liked the whole "last minute decision" factor in KOTOR, for one, I could just save there and play out both endings so I didn't have to go through the whole game again making different dialogue choices just to view the other ending. Also, I was going through the whole game light side, not once doing a darkside decision. But Bastila's proposal sounded so tempting, I became dark side, so it's a test on the player, and I think it was pulled off well. It also saves a lot of time. And, if I recall, they already said they'd do the same things in this game, so...Too late!
  7. Adria has a point. Yuthura kicked ass!! B)
  8. There are 10 NPCS. Out of them, the following have been seen: T3M4 Kreia Atton Rand HK-Like Character Hooded White Jedi Red-head girl... That's 6. I didn't count the white-haired jedi, because I figured she might be the hooded one, but if she is a different person, then that's 7. That leaves only 3 or 4 spots left. Who could they be? Let's think about it: Dustil Onasi? He seems like a likely candidate. It is confirmed that you're traveling to Telos, Carth's homeworld, so maybe you could see him there and he could join you?? Canderous? I think its very possible that Canderous is in here. He was a fan favorite, and was impossible to kill off in Kotor 1...I think we'll be seeing him again. Yuthura? Oh god I hope so! She was so awesome! She already has a backstory, a light/dark struggle, and an interesting character. I can see the main character meeting her on Dantooine. As for the other members: Juhani- Either rotting in the sun on the roof of the temple on the Unknown Planet, or back to her homeworld or helping out with Taris. Possible cameo, but I doubt it. Jolee- Being a loner on Kashhyk, or laying next to Juhani, dead as well. Mission- Dead on the beach/floating in the ocean, or helping with the rebuild of Taris with Zaalbar. Carth- Dead on the Star Forge docking bay, or on Telos with his son, Dustil. I'm guessing he will make an appearance. Bastila- Dead on the Star Forge, with Revan, or now at Coruscant on the jedi council or helping rebuild Dantooine. She'll probably be mentioned, but I'm not sure about her showing up. Zaalbar- With Mission, dead on the beach or on Taris, or following Revan because of his life debt. I highly doubt he'll even be talked about. HK- With Revan, or is the mysterious robot look-a-like. What do you guys think??
  9. First post!!! Yeah!!! :D Anyway, I hope that in this game they give the player an experience something along the lines of Korriban. Not neccessarily the location or even gameplay, but just the experience itself... In the first game, on my first playthrough up until Korriban the Sith were portrayed as just mindless bad guys that you had to kill. Once you reached Korriban, your general attitude about the Sith seems the same, until you get into the actual academy. You see the Sith's true personalities. They're normal people, they have flaws, hopes, and dreams. You especially see this with Yuthura, who is obviously a very troubled person. The likeability of the Sith in my first game transformed my goody two-shoes light side character into dark side within moments of talking to everyone in the academy. Korriban was an intimate way to see the Sith from another perspective as opposed to the "Evil, heartless bastards" portrayal that is all that is really shown earlier in the game. Yuthura really affected my game experience. When the time came to kill her, I chose to spare her life. I actually cared about her. Converting her to the light side and then talking to her on Dantooine about her struggles with staying good was really interesting and satisfying. What I hope Kotor II does is give us another kind of way to look into the true lives of the sith, not just the sith lords, but its aspiring students and flawed instructors. It gives the player a very interesting perspective. I REALLY hope Kotor II has Yuthura as a playable character. She already has a backstory, and her conversion to the light would make a perfect "light/dark struggle" kind of thing. She was by far my favorite character in the last, and I hope to see her again in Kotor II...Well that's all. Hope everyone enjoyed reading my first post!!!
