  1. Put the backpack into an item slot like you were going to equip it. Then move items from your inventory into the backpack. When you want to access the backpack, just use the hand icon on it. There you go.
  2. I agree that there should be a lot of places that are not related to the plot, areas just for side-quests and looking for special items.
  3. No it's not, it's a RPG. And when I play darkside I want the ability to kill anyone who gives me a problem or a smartas.s answer. I want to be able to wipe out everyone in an entire area and create ghost towns if I so choose. It's an RPG, but without that freedom, it's not a true RPG.
  4. I'm not sure if it would be possible, I imagine that this could strain a computer's processors, but here goes; You know how in the star wars movies the Jedi and Sith often use the force to throw things at each other, most recently entire balcony seats at the senate building. Would it not be cool to be able to do this in the game. Just about everything would be throwable, with heavier items rewquiring a greater wisdom and more force points to be thrown. For instance, a small box on the street might take 3 force points and only require 10 wisdom but it does minimal damage, while a landspeeder would require about 70 forcepoints and a wisdom of 18 and it does huge damage. There are still things that need to be worked out, such as how to initiate the throw, how to target it, would it affect non hostile NPC's, but I think the idea itself is good. Also, the ability to kill anyone and everyone like in Fallout. That would be sweet. And random encounters when traveling between worlds, maybe attacks by pirates, meeting trade ships, etc. etc. Respawning enemies, like areas infested with Kinrath for instance, the kinrath could keep coming back. It could be a level up place that would be usefull if my "kill anyone" idea were to be added, because as we all know, a large chunk of the xp you get in the games is from quests. If you kill everyone, where do your quests and xp come from?

  6. Well thanks for the links. I wasn't really speculating, even though it look that way. It was more thinking out loud......
  7. I wonder if they changed the address...... Does anyone know? Maybe LA shut them down because they wanted to leave that stuff out.
  8. It's been down for almost a week and I wanted to be sure that it's not only me. http://magestrix.com/K2End/about.html
  9. That's one one of my main beefs with the DS. You feel more like a thug than a Dark Jedi. There need to be a lot more ways to manipulate people.
  10. I always get that far when I play LS..... <_<
  11. Why does the character portrait have no hair, but the standing model has a full head of it? Plus, what am I supposed to be looking at?
  12. I hate forums. I can't tell when people are being sarcastic.
  13. Are you serious? I wouldn't put it past them to put something like that in there.
  14. I've not had my charisma there, but in my last game my wisdom was at 41. charisma was at 22 or so. Just use a lot of boosting items.
  15. Heh..... I love playing DS. It is who I am. I don't like to play LS. I can be nice to people, but not like you have to be to get LS points.
  16. You get one peice from the HK on Peragus, one peice from an HK on Telos, one peice from an HK on Nar Shadaa, and the other can be bought from a few droid dealers. Kodin on Nar-Shadaa for instance, or the big eared guy on Dantooine, I can't recall his name though, and then some droid on Onderon. When buying HK parts, be sure that the part for sale is not one that you have already found. If you go to Nar Shadaa first, you have a chance to have HK rebuilt before you leave.
  17. I may have it confused with another. My last game was Consular/Jedi Master and I had 4 different force forms. I can't remember what each one was for.
  18. I believe that's only available for Consulars though.
  19. I'm moderator at Ashford City, in case anyone cares.
  20. Yes, but I was trying to appeal to the KotOR players. What better way to ensure that they see the thread than to put it here?
  21. I would like to invite you all to stop by Ashford City. Ashford City was founded by two moderators of the Interplay forums back in December of 2003. After the Interplay forums were closed Ashford City became the new home of many Interplay forum refugees, including myself. Ashford City started as mainly a few forums based around Black Isle games, but now we have many different forums for many different games, including KotOR 1 and 2. There are also a few hidden forums that you may apply to join if you have an interest. For instance, one of these is the MMORPG forum, (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) If you have an interest in games like those, you can apply to see the MMORPG forum. The reason that there are hidden forums is to keep the main findex from becoming too cluttered. I hope to see you soon.
  22. I like the black color idea, simply because to me, it's even more evil than red. But the stealth stuff, who cares?
  23. For Bao Dur you have to keep him with you a lot and do good things to other people, that's how you get influence with him. You may need to have only him present to be sure that he gets the influence bonus. Each time you gain influence with him you should talk to him. After about 5 times or so you will be able to train him. Mira is even easier, Just keep talking to her about her past and make nice comments to her, then ask her why she is so restless and you will get to offer to train her.
