A huge city in the form of a ring, a melting pot in the middle of the multiverse. Most of Planescape:Torment took place inside and in the vicinity of it.
...oh. Okay.
Nothing to do with the thread, just a joke on the side. Back to topic.

fAll the other properly developed games that are out these days?
Do tell me which. I'm playing Baldur's Gate for the 67th time now because there is no other good RPG stuff.
Good choice. I lost count how many times I've played it.
Yeah well, "67th time" is an indication that I've lost track too
But I really would like to know if there's been any PCRPG worth playing that I've missed.

Sigil. Aurora can be the Lady of Pain

I would vote this game as excellent untill the sequence with the jedi masters on dantoinne
despite all the cut - content in the general game, the storyline was still pretty good.........but as soon as you hit the enclave all hope is lost of playing a decent game
you go through a bunch of brutally easy fights........and then you go through the most poorly laid out planet I've seen........I don't know about you guys but I've done some mapping before, and on Malachor I could look up and see the edges and corners of the skybox! noy to mention the fact that there was no texture on the very top of the skybox, that just anooys me..........and thats not even mentioning how your party just dissapears in to oblivion never to be seen again
but the way I look at it is this
for a game put together in 12 months.....that is A+ material.......that is more then a lot of dev's could do in 12 months, however if I ranked kotor 2 with all the other properly develloped games that are out these days I would say C+
tops
All the other properly developed games that are out these days?
Do tell me which. I'm playing Baldur's Gate for the 67th time now because there is no other good RPG stuff. Unless ofcourse you think of Sacred and Dungeon Siege 2 as good RPG stuff...

Yes, l suggest everyone begins a new game. It might be annoying, but it might save you from any future bugs you might encounter. Plus, you get to experience the full power of the dark side.... l mean, the cut-content.

Quote: "I'm sure there would have been fewer critisisms on this game if he hadn't let cut contents in the files of the game.
I didn't say there would have been none thought, but fewer certainly."
Statement: I actually think I would have seen the game as being worse than it is, if I didn't know that the content was supposed to be in the game, than if it was intentional to leave out all the blanks.

I played through K1 two times, and I''ve played through K2 five times now. Nuff said.
-
Nah. Better have a complete result than an early result.
After all, it wouldn't make much sense for a mod correcting the flaws of a game with an early deadline, to have an early deadline itself would it?

Just speak with your crew-members, and sometimes you'll be enabled to teach them things bit by bit. Handmaiden is easy, though you have to beat her fighting. Atton is a bit tougher because you have to do a small side-quest first
The other I've never tried because I've never really used them in my party.

Jedi Knight offers you a realistic view of Nar In contrast to K2 methinks. In K2 it's to open, to many people on the streets, to many people who shouldn't be out in the open are out in the open...

kotor 2 had a better story yes, but was no where near kotor1 in thems of game. In kotor 1, you wanted to start a new game, and there were always things that you didnt saw before. In kotor 2, everything is plain and boring. In kotor 1, you kept good memories of place and music, in kotor 2 you dont keep any memory, you just try to explain the story. So kotor 1 was a good game and kotor 2 was not, now if they were a book, kotor 2 would be a lot better.
I don't agree. I've only played K1 three times because there are no new things to discover.
K2 is like the Matrix: The story is so complex that you to "see" it a couple of times to understand it. There are many conversations that are as deep as the one in Reloaded with the Architect: You have to read through the dialogue a couple of times to really GET IT.
-
Hmm... I did a little a little research and it seems the problem only occurs when you choose to to lay your weapons down as the first dialogue option.
So is this an intentional bug to stop us friendly lightsiders from being peaceful or..?
If any one finds a solution, please let me know.

I sure do hope so... It's kindda pissing me off a little
But thanks.

Hey, I'm on my fourth runthrough in KotORII, and I've just met the first gamestopping bug ever. I'm up to date 'n' all.
When I get to the plateau where Atris hides for the first time, I defeat the HK units, then, with Kreia and Atton, I go into the temple. Inside, Handmaiden asks me to put down my weapons, which I do. After that, Kreia and Atton stay behind me, after which I engage i conversation with Handmaiden. After that I speak to Atris, who's already waiting for me at the bridge, which messes up the cutscenes. After speaking to her, Only Bao is in the force cage, Kreia and Atton is still at the door. Speaking to Kreia does nothing, but when speaking to Atton I receive these choices:
1. [Cheat Node] Jump to the PC confrontation with Atris
2. [Cheat Node] Continue with Kreia conversation
Number 2 does nothing, and number one makes me repeat the conversation with Atris, only the dialogue options I have chosen before, I can't choose again.
I have installed the "Skip Peragus" mod.
What do I do? Please help!

Nihilus.
He's just wasted potential... Sadly... He could have been so much more.
-
Sith Lord, there is a bug (MUST BE) with force crush so you're totally immortal with it. Not to mention Force Storm.
-
Jedi. It also sound cooler so...
Jedi.
-
To hell with fat robot! G0TO is the most useless creation ever!
-
There was an ending where you could have killed him...
Bio cut it...
There's a mod that enables it...
But Carth cannot be killed in the original version,so you can't name his as a killable main character...
Exactly.

Personally, I want to be a Padawan under the influence of a master. A lightsider would heed his teachings and listen to him, and a darksider would be somewhat as uncontrollable as Anakin.
I think I would play as lightside the first time, but after that I would play darkside just to hear my master say:
"I trusted you Charname!"
-
I just want to see Coruscant really. And minimum eight planets.
Then I'm happy

Honestly, I think that they should use the Ebon Hawk for the last game. Why? Because they used the Ebon Hawk in the first twi games. So, it would be stupid to use a different ship in the last game. Why use a new ship now or ever, for that matter? They used the Millenium Falcon in all three of the first movies. So, why not use the Ebon Hawk in all three of the KotOR games? It only makes sense. Why get attached to anyother ship. It might be so awesome that we'll be pissed that KotOR is all done. Those of you that want to see a new ship in KotOR 3 obviously are did not become attached to the Ebon Hawk. So, who am I to say that you'll become attached to a new ship. So, I have an idea. How about in KotOR 3, there are parts of the game that you get to fly another ship because the Ebon Hawk is getting repairs or you have to go some place where the Ebon Hawk would be immediately recognized, or your party has to split in two, or you need a ship with special capabilites. Something like that...
Just out of curiosity, when is it ever said that there will only be three games? Haven't they planned six?

Metallica - King Nothing
Wish I may
Wish I might
Have this I wish tonight
Are you satisfied?
Dig for gold
Dig for fame
You dig to make your name
Are you pacified?
All the wants you waste
All the things you've chased
Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled
And you're left with just a name
Where's your crown King Nothing?
Where's your crown?
Hot and cold
Bought and sold
A heart as hard as gold
Yeah! Are you satisfied?
Wish I might
Wish I may
You wish your life away
Are you pacified?
All the wants you waste
All the things you've chased
Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled
And you're left with just a name
Where's your crown King Nothing?
Where's your crown?
(Spoken)
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have this wish I wish tonight
I want that star
I want it now
I want it all and I don't care how
Careful what you wish
Careful what you say
Careful what you wish
You may regret it
Careful what you wish
You just might get it
Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled
And you're left with just a name
Where's your crown King Nothing?
No Nothing
No you're just nothing
Where's your crown King Nothing?
No you're just nothing
Absolutely nothing
Off to never never land...
