  1. I hadn't been able to make Bao a jedi with Neg influence.. As I never get influence for killing the Mandalorian soldier or refusing to give the Republic spy the Spacesport Visa.
  2. What I really hate was that npc converstations were lacking, most of your companions only came with a few lines that are easily completed within 10 minutes of meeting them (Bao-Dor and Visas) and other sort of problems with NPCS where their speech loops or how they never give you an option to complete some quests, like the Fuel mission.. Oh wait this is a thread about what you like about the game... oof.
  3. You can get all the parts on Datoonie.. for the last 3 games I have been able to atleast. I usually get all the parts after killing/rescusing the Jerrod dude and stopping/aidding the attack on Khoodan.
  4. It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think your ignorant.... Rather then open it and prove them right. We (the PC users) had to wait two extra months to get the game. Then, we had to wait an additional two months to make it: 1) Playable for some. 2) Get game stopping bugs fixed. 3) To get an exact copy of the Xbox version. None of the Xbox bugs have been fixed on the PC version. So, be silent. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> KOTOR 1 was updated and it wasn't xbox live you retard. Xbox live enabled means you can logon in your xbox account, make purchases for that game. etc.
  5. More people bought KOTOR 2 for the xbox and we "the masses" need a patch... SO GO MAKE ONE FOR US.
  6. Yeah but it says your demonolition skills are not high enough and you need the spikes in the room to unlock the door to the fuel gate meaning you're stuck.
  7. I didn't say it should be a full FPS system.. if you read I suggest that if you hit the target it hits them, but the damage you do on the target is based on your lightsaber skills. Also if they were to make it a hybird combat system, they would never ever make it like JK:Academy. JK:A usually is all about jumping around like a rabbit attempting to slash people
  8. heh I been purposing neg influencing characters in my game. I just want to see what happens .
  9. For those who played K1, there was a bug where the two-handed skill had no effect on double bladed weapons. Does this bug carry onto K2?
  10. With a Repair skill of 20, creating and breaking down upgrade parts costs the same number of components. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh well... I guess I rather just ask TM for 500 spikes than put some skills into a rather useless repair option.. Awareness can protect you from those lethal land mines *remember once dying trying to cross a minefield and I was freaking out how I was getting hurt* and brings up a lot of convo options
  11. I think it should display the same thing as when you activate Force Sight. And Force Sight should take no FP, either, as they obviously can use it continuously, so why can't other FS? (That's a rhetorical question Baley ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But under the system ith as to be triggered, unless you like having it active every second.. cause the system doesn't support force powers that take 0 FS points. to cast
  12. I found out if you're on the diffcult level.. you can't open the security tunnel *when you're t3 at the Paraguas station* and it says "your skill is too low" meaning you're stuck (w00t) unless you lower the diffculty level... isn't that just dumb?
  13. In KotOR1, you eventually unlock HK-47's stories of his previous masters which are hillarious! In KotOR2, you gradually increase some of T3-M4's statistics and gain influence with the little guy. Also, you can opt to use parts (which are abundant) rather than spikes (which are scarce but are also creatable at a workbench) when hacking into systems. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you know you can ask T3 to make spikes? I love him for that. If you have the time you can break down several 100 spikes to get that upgrade you want
  14. I never had repair in any of my games so I don't know the advantages for repair... anyway what are the advantages for repair?
  15. The thing is... I am not going to use lightsabers
  16. Flurry is just one extra attack, which isn't really good... as flurry is only good with master speed in my opinion. Power Attack adds 15 damage to both blades and knocks down on critical, while flurry would give you two extra attacks (with dual blades).. Unless I find a super rare sword or blaster, I don't think flurry would be better
  17. Hey I am starting a roleplaying char... which is a mandalorian jedi (don't ask) and I am wondering if... Power attack is more effective than flurry without using force speed (because I am using heavy armor) and if Powerblaster if better than rapid shot... for one weapon.. and than for dual weapons (ie two swords, two blasters)
  18. hear me out!!! They should try a FPS system where your character plants steel (or light) on the target, it actually hits them but for the damage system it should be based on your skills. They could also do that for power attacks, even a finishing move where you could theorically chop a Sith Soldier's hands off, or even head.... but that may not keep a T rating
  19. I have a save like that I am on the Ravager. With Visas and Mandalore.. doo... too bad I can't force Mandalore to go nekkid.
  20. Baley, I seem to recall that you haven't played K1 past Taris. Is this correct? If so, you are hardly in a position of authority to declaim the relative boredom quotient of the two games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No I haven't replayed it past Taris " ...I finished the damn game IMO^^ :D also if a game is that boring...I would easely quit and never look back <{POST_SNAPBACK}> haha I have to admit that I probably played K1 13 times and probably K2 16 times (played it during Christmas every second!)
  21. Baley, I seem to recall that you haven't played K1 past Taris. Is this correct? If so, you are hardly in a position of authority to declaim the relative boredom quotient of the two games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well if Taris and Manaan weren't so long, K1 would be insanely fun to play... Manaan all that walking underwater and the whole "no wilderness" really ticked me off and Taris had some fun parts like the Arena and the whole gang war. But what really ticked me off was the mission/zaalbar missions... my first game I was probably in the sewers for a good 3 hours. OF BOREDOM.
  22. We had an option of killing Juhani, killing mission, killing the wookie. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Also yes I feel a bit more forced upon in this game.. we didn't have as many options as we did in K1. K1 you could join the Sith academy, pass off as a student, go through those entertaining trails I really liked the Ajunta Pall tomb and the Sith Master one. But in K2 the missions are pretty much exactly the same even if you're light or dark. For example in K1. You had the Datoonie mission about the family fued. At the end you had many options like convince the fathers to buy them a house, convince the lovers to leave home and convince the guy to leave the girl forever and break her heart.... But in K2 we didn't get such complex choices and no where as many as the first game. The only one I can really think off is the Telos exchange leadership fight, Vusk against that Zeltron. Though K1 had much more interesting options..
  23. We had an option of killing Juhani, killing mission, killing the wookie.
  24. Originally we were told when KOTOR 2 was annouced. There ahs been dozens of preveiws but every time I make a new game and complete it. I feel at a loss. Many preveiws told the reader how the game was going to be exciting, the Republic is on the verge of collaspe (which we never really saw...) sith are hunting you (not once have I been hunted since I left Paragus) Also a lot of preveiws told the reader how sith fighters will attack you and board your craft... That has never.. ever.. happen to me. We were also promise a choice of characters, like our alignment would have an effect when it comes to selecting party members. NEVER HAPPEN besides the whole Hanharr thing but that is different as it wasn't even a choice... At first we were promised download content... at the START of the ****ing game. It has been what 5 months? COME ON. We were also forced to hype about these 2 new sith lords and we were also somehow convinced that there were factions of the sith (which we could help or destroy) YET... the only faction we saw was Sion and his cloaking buddies and the stupid guy with the dress who is a part time necromancer... We were also promised new fighting animations... though all we got is just 1 animation for every type of weapon/skill with a glowly effect <_< We were also promised new 30 powers... what... oh yeah.. all the new powers are crap. They are completely worthless. Do we need crap non-lightsabre deflect? Do we need animal control (whatever the hell it does) and force sight? We were also promised movie scense, GCI scenese.. THOUGH... the only "scene" we got was the one at the end that was 15 seconds... grr... Overall I feel scammed. Sure the story of KOTOR 2 makes sense and is it ok. But it was suspose to be perfect, yet it was not even good.... So many mistakes, missing scenes, looping speech. grrr
  25. It will hurt sales a lot if they were to say. Make the main character only able to be a mon calamari, twi'lek. etc. Sub-species of human would be cool and Zabrack (they have hair yes) but anything else would hurt sales way too much in my opinion
