  1. actually i think none..well mostly no people have the problem what you wrote now, I don't have it, and the 5-6 other people I know ho likes Drizzt don't have them too. And the world need heroes PS: many people don't like Superman/Spiderman or the others, and I don't care about it, so why do you care about Drizzt if you don't like him? Why do you read the books he's in?
  2. Yes, like in commandos, or whats the name of the SW FPS shooter with 4 party member clones
  3. Can completely agree with that. Freelancer is a good game, but after the storyline ends and the "Free Roaming" starts, it loses ALOT of it's magic... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sadly this is true, you better don't rush on the main story line, take a seat, enjoy the game, and make other things not just rush-on the story line
  4. Erm, yes they did. 'This is a space sim, why can't I use my joystick?!?!'. 'Actually, this isn't a space sim, it's a space trading game'. And I fail to see how it was cross-genre since it only use one control scheme+'planet interface'. That is to say, if you hate the controls, that's it for the whole game, it wasn't that once you landed on a planet you suddenly had to start playing a KotoR style RPG with munchkin power-leveling and TB combat. So yeah, this example is pretty poor. Also, XP in freelancer? haha, no. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, YES : you could only have a ship if you have enough xp for it
  5. Besides the XP stuff you mentioned things you find in every Space Exploration & Exploitation... So that is already part of the "genre" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thre was a great background, and evolving story, one like in the best RPG-s, there was also your own char, but you see him only in movie-scenes and the bar of the planet/station. And this gives a real RPG feeling to it. You have also many options in-game how you would like to solve a problem, or what you would like to do next. So it IS cross-genre, and the best of both
  6. Try it ...lots of plots in it
  7. I don't mind Drizzt, but now i hate YOU... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, Salvatore's books are the only decent ones when it comes to the d&d genre. Of course they can't beat the dragonlance Chronicles trilogy and Legends trilogy. I have also read Elaine Cunningham's Starlight & Shadows trilogy but I hated it. The end was rushed and her main character (the female drow Liriel) is perfect... too perfect... even more than Drizzt. She learns new spells just like that, by reading books and she wins way too easily her fights. I believe this is an american trend in which writers fall in love with their characters and refuse to make them vulnerable in any fashion. Reminds me of hollywood movies <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You all need to find somewhere translations from John Caldwell's World of Chaos books...nearly all of his main characters dies in a way in a book after that one witch the char was in
  8. People complained, that says enough about a number of the people who would play a game like this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Freelancer is cross-genre, and no one complained <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And it was a pretty good game overall. Now imagine SW:Freelancer *Drooling* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (w00t) ...It could be done...a mercenary...maybe a mandalorian..on his/her quest for finding his/her own fate in the galaxy...
  9. People complained, that says enough about a number of the people who would play a game like this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Freelancer is cross-genre, and no one complained
  10. In any SW game or movie it is needed to have atleast one wookie, and Hanharr was a really good wookie...but the other one I hope to know what has Hanharr did after episode 1 (if LS) ,and whats up with Mission now....hmm...Mission in clothes like that of SWG dancer girls
  11. No, no-one can get so many votes as Bush...if he is in a voting like this :D
  12. I'm in Ninjutsu...no metabolism or any other problem, thanx
  13. Its bad there are not enough real 'superheroes' in the world, don't hate the ones in RPG and books, they can be idols to the new generation of policemen, firemen, medics, or 'politics-man'
  14. The original or the AGD version? (That's one of my favourite games, too. ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I found the 'remastered' one ... for free at GamersHell (I also had the original one very long time ago )
  15. Red is 384 - 482 THz But you also have to specify light intensity then. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> geeks (w00t) :D
  16. Free flight in space, and landings from space to planet manually <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be great. But we're talking about a D&D based RPG here. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> based , but not whole made of
  17. Free flight in space, and landings from space to planet manually
  18. Oh ...there is no option for grey, white, cyan, golden, silver, .... or no hair :D
  19. Try a demo, or try it by one of your friends, but never ask others how they like/dislike it
  20. The eating in Super Hydlide wasn't nearly as painful as it was in Ultima VII. This was partly because Super Hydlide was a single player RPG.. I am surrounded by weirdos! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm more a night than a day person...now its just 15:41 , and this is not the time I write mostly :D
  21. NEVER ask others how they like/hate a game! Thats a golden rule!!! Try it for yourself.
  22. A great game that is highly addicitive once you start to play. The classics are still good at doing this compared to a lot of the newer games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I play King's Quest 2 even today
  23. Umm...you mean KOTOR 3 , right? ...and i agree : we need the Rakatans back
  24. I like Nym, the drow 'merchant' too
  25. Atris is no real jedi, she is somewhere in between... <_<
