WOW, i get taxed 28% and and i make $30k and im 22 paying for my own college. WITH NO HEALTHCARE! The reason i have no healthcare through college is beacsue you have to atlest take 12 credits and i average on 8-11 only because i have to support myself.

Yes i agree about the U.S. schools not being that great, i have a big opinion on this. i think it should be year-round, and shorter days and more small breaks in between. also pay the teachers more. also stop bogging the teachers down with tests and STOP THE MULTI CHOICE QUESTIONS! and free college. =less crime, less poverty, and the kids don't come back from summer break w/ no clue.

I might be late but... Most people relate to themselves more then anybody. therefore if people pick a character that resembles themself or someone they admire, then the game is more to them. I feel it when i watch a movie or listen to music or even read a book. if you can see yourself in that person easier then its easier to relate. For instance, my girlfriend hates blondes, she can't relate to them. and my sister is blonde and she doesn't care about brunnettes so neither of them are going to be willing to play eachother and enjoy it more. thats my hypothesis. any comments?

communism is not suppose to be spontanous, theres steps, people never reallly jump into anything, always increments. just like platos cave. the man was dragged out, the matrix was mostly unrealistic when he took the pill willingly. first capitalism, then industrialization, then socialism then communism. the reason why the communist nations have failed is becasue it hasn't started like it should yet. it needs to start witht the working class rising above politically, which is possible in socialism. and not grabbing their guns to do so. Im just thinking, how could we know if its not possible? the system could always be tweaked and Marks and Engals really didn't set up a strict system, he left room to work w/. Of course the "real world" "communism" didn't work, its was your standard dictatorship who oppressed it people. and anytime you need to protect youir own regime from the people you govern, its doomed to have trouble. Its sad that lenin got away with starving 2Million to industrialize his country for "a Means to an end" how scarey.

I don;t think anyone here thinks that the USSR version of "communism" was a healthy way to live. its generally universal how people feel about it. but we have been defending socialism. By the way, what do you think the USSR at the beggining stages of Communism was? socialist dictator, capitalist perhaps? feel free to express your opinion and make a constructive argument my ears are open. i can't seem to place my thumb on it. im thinking whle lenin was still around that it was a socialist dictator with bits of capitalism and military.

Your last sentence about WHY people think this way also puzzles me... i think about it alot because i know so many people who think like that also. and when kids have questions they go to the most obvious source, their parents. not a book or a intellectual. and once you make your mind up the FIRST time... its just that much tougher to change it. becasue your looking at it biased from there and getting all the ammo that supports it from there on. Thats my hypothesis on the human mindset.

My boss has the same views as tak does... i don't know where it roots from. Could it be fundmemtalism creeping in again? why would the people who it could help (75%easy) reject it as nonesense? where could that belief come from? It would be difficult to change, but what doesnt change? isnt the meaning of life to be happy, so why not make it easier to be? Edit: I dont know how to respond to mkreku's post. all i can say is alot of people in every country will believe they live in the best country. i personally don't beleive i as an amercian live in the best country.

Ok think about if for your kids and grand kids sake... do you want them to DEFINATELY have healthcarea and a retirement aid, amd make a better public education system so they can make better decision and not get lied too, because thje more one knows the harder it is to lie to that person. the more valuable that person is to make decisions for his community. or what the heck, take a chance. what we do while we have the power matters. we are living on a thin line. screw the past. we blame ourselves if we dont make it better for them.
