  1. I voted High-School so Avellone can live his dream!
  2. Yes, hooray for PA avatars. It has been a while since I read it, but I believe that quote is from A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. Or at least from one of the sequels.
  3. Thanks Indalecio, sniggy. (Mud wrestling? I've never understood that either.)
  4. Funny, that's how I spell it.
  5. Ha! I'm the fifth in my lineage! I WIN.
  6. Okay.
  7. Yeah, what he said!
  8. Use the quote button in the ADD REPLY page. Highlight the text in your message that you want quoted and press the QUOTE button.
  9. He called it upon himself!
  10. How about you investigate that QUOTE button f***wit?
  11. Indeed, the implementation does stymie one. Most of the rules are resorts of expediency.
  12. A very good description.
  13. The Grand List of Console Role Playing Game Cliches
  14. Okay I think I see what you're saying. That helped clarify my thinking. Thank you. This was basicly the same impetus for my question.
  15. Yeah. I've found it continues in that cyclic manner pretty much indefinitly. Try devising a game without implementing any of the rules. All I'd like to know is what game that picture in the upper right-hand corner is from. Grr...
  16. Keep in mind that the UNs purpose is to be an international forum; it's more or less devoted to stopping wars. A revamp of the League of Nations, which failed.
  17. I belive these are the crux of my question. To what regard does "general anti-semitism" and history of persecution factor into the creation of resolutions condemning Israel? Informative post, yes it makes enough sense.
  18. Hmm... mashed potatoes can be my friend...
  19. Just Nod Your Head And Smile And no matter how big that big-ass sword is, you won't stand out in a crowd. Nobody ever crosses the street to avoid you or seems to be especially shocked or alarmed when a heavily armed gang bursts into their house during dinner, rummages through their possessions, and demands to know if they've seen a black-caped man. People can get used to anything, apparently.
  20. Yeah, there's always someone spoiling the stew alright. The line of thought I was trying to follow was: if international bigotry was so great as to motivate the Jews to seize a homeland as you say, what influence does that bigotry have on international resolutions against Israel? (As an aside, I appreciate your discussion of this with me. Thank you.)
  21. It's a more formal tense of "remove, get rid of".
  22. Fair summation Gorth. To what degree did the creation of Israel abrogate international bigotry?
  23. Well, good deal you've got there! That guy was a fool!
  24. I wonder how long the last person worked there?
