Never heard of them, I just remember techno topping when I started in highschool around 1999, where it also seemed to die out and was replaced by rap as I reached my final yeah in 2003.

It's probably music, I just hate it, too much attitude involved. I never did understand why some folks found it good for dancin' though. Also, I like some country music. Them rednecks do have a certain simplistic charm to them.
