  1. I'll let you know in advance: season 4 was done by a different studio. Get ready for the CGI.
  2. Solasta: I managed to get the elusive chest in the Library. People are saying it is difficult because of a bug, I had to use two spells and force my character to stop at a very specific position on the wall to do it. People said I would get a nice wand but instead all I found was a useless language helm. My characters already speak all languages.
  3. If you are weird, then I am too. If God created the universe, then God existed before things like biology and genders appeared. I assume God is either genderless or chooses how to appear. Unless we live in a simulation and God is the one who programmed it, then anything is possible.
  4. I was fine with that but a little annoyed when it dragged again later. Still something necessary to get everyone in place for the action, though. Yes, but with the exception that the characters here are self-aware. And he doesn't know if he is in a video game or if he was transported to another world like it happens in some animes. They could be real people suffering. Spoiler for later episodes of season 3: As for Ainz' behavior, they do offer some explanations: he became a Lich and no longers feels emotion in the same way. He is not impressed or disgusted by blood and when he has that strange effect suppressing his emotions like an aura. But there are moments when he does show some mercy, so he should understand what he is doing. Also: I don't think there will be a happy ending, but they do have one chance:
  5. I heard Jojo also has better anime girls.
  6. I watched a few episodes of Ranma 1/2 decades ago. It was funny and I would watch it again, but it seems it has a lot of episodes, so I don't plan to do it anytime soon. After LOGH, Violet Evergarden and Jojo, I'll probably make another watch list with shorter animes.
  7. I started Solasta today. Everyone is saying good things about it, seems like I won't be disappointed.
  8. Legend of Galactic Heroes 1-7 (the original series from the 80s/90s) I was looking forward to this and I am not disappointed. This is a really good Sci-Fi. I will include some minor spoilers here and anything more serious I will hide. The story takes place near the year 3600, with humanity divided into two nations: the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance. The Alliance was founded by fugitives from the empire that left 270 years before the events in the series. The “rebels”, as the empire calls them, escaped to a system far away, in another arm of the galaxy, and since they restablished contact with the empire, they have been continuously at war, for 150 years. This is the map shown in the anime (no spoilers): This one looks better, but I don't know if it is official. It does seem to be from before the remake: The battles: They are interesting and fast paced. They are heavily based on fleet formations and surprising the enemy. I’m not sure why they can surprise each other though, since there is no explanations about the FTL system, how far their sensors can see or the distances involved. Bigger spoilers below: The characters: There are a lot of characters here. And since most of them wear the same military uniforms, it is easy to confuse who is who sometimes. But they seem to be complex enough based on what I have seen so far. Btw, the image above calls the empire “Reich” and I saw a non spoiler review implying that they may be like the nazi. But they don’t seem to be that bad, at least not for now. They are an authoritarian regime with the privileged nobility and everyone has german names, but they don’t appear to go beyond that. They do have a bad taste for uniforms though, which looks a lot like the nazi: There is also an independent “City-State”, Phezzan, located in a very strategic position, one of the only two routes connecting the main powers. Their leader looks like a Bond villain and Lex Luthor. I’m sure he won’t cause any troubles. Nothing to see here.
  9. Plenty of celibates there. The Overlord, being a skeleton, is in fact an involuntary one. Spoiler: the reptile scene is an exception. Don't expect more of that. And it was damaging enough for the elf kids.
  10. This looks gorgeous. I felt like watching it as soon as I saw this image. But then I saw the other image. I binge watched AoT's first 2-3 seasons, so I don't remember very well what happens on each one, it is just one thing for me. I didn't care that much for the monologues, but I felt really annoyed by how much they delayed I swore I wouldn't watch any more Picard. But I confess I'm interested. I'm going to hate it anyway. Finally started Legend of Galactic Heroes. I'll post my impressions later.
  11. I was wondering about a plot hole just the moment they explained it:
  12. Overlord Season 3 This was a great season. It started hilariously and ended in an impressive way. It paid off many things that were in development. And had some sad and disturbing moments too. I forgot to mention when I talked about season 2, there is a character here that would eat everyone in Westeros for breakfast. And I’m not talking about those who do eat human meat. But in this season, the schemes were much bigger. Below is a small spoiler, but most of it is mentioned explicitly in the description of the anime on some sites. Read at your own risk though: Another spoiler below. It is one of the funniest scenes in the anime, but it doesn't spoil the story. Again, read and watch at your own risk:
  13. Probably Astra Zeneca, which is the one people are getting right now. The situation is definitely better than it was recently, but the number of deaths/million is still pretty high.
  14. Welcome to the Great Tomb of Nazarick!
  15. The vaccination in some parts of Brazil is now expected to happen much earlier. Last I had checked I would only be vaccinated in August or September. But now it seems it will happen in the next weeks.
  16. Overlord S2: Omg, they certainly didn't hold themselves back here. Some characters in this anime can be really cruel. Luckily they didn't show one of their worst acts, limiting it to be mentioned in a conversation. Impressive how a series with overpowered characters can still be so interesting, even when it comes to battles. Part of it is the satisfaction of seeing some truly bad guys punished. But don't expect many people in the good side of alignments. Even knowing that I was still surprised on some occasions. The characters are unique and very different from each other. And the protagonist makes sense, considering his situation. To explain better I need to give some spoilers (not about the story though): The funniest thing is seeing him And now just a big meme, but no spoilers:
  17. Or the creature from the movie Life.
  18. I didn't read everything because you sold it to me in the first paragraphs. I'll try to watch it while I go through Legend of Galactic Heroes.
  19. I could swear it was Pippin. But I knew for sure it wasn't Frodo.
  20. I decided to watch one last anime before Legend of Galactic Heroes. I'm really enjoying it. Basically Overlord is about a guy who is trapped inside a mmorpg when it is about to shut down. He becomes his character and is transported to a new world with a legion of evil npcs that are loyal to him and have become self-aware. Small spoilers below:
  21. Wasn't he also the one who figured out how to enter Moria?
  22. Researcher says that fungi used for computation are the most intelligent living organisms in the world. Not surprising. Flat Earthers certainly lower the average human intelligence.
  23. What!? I will start Legend of Galactic Hero in a week or so. After that is Jojo. Not sure how long it will take to watch these ones since they have over a hundred episodes each. Also, I don't have as much free time now as I did when I binge watched SM.
  24. I can picture images, but they are kind of low resolution. Unless I imagine them close to me. I never really tried the procedures to have a lucid dream properly, but after reading about it my brain kind of decided it should try sometimes. So once every couple weeks I have this almost lucid experience when I stop in the middle of a dream, feel like I'm awake and then immediately start dreaming random things again. It always lasts about a second, but it is very different from anything else when I'm dreaming. I'm much more aware, but I'm not sure I'm conscious or whatever is supposed to happen. The dream becomes more stable when this happens and I can see or at least notice many more details than in other dreams.
