Today was a holiday here, so I decided to binge watch LoGH. It was well worth it. The story built up and by episodes 71 and 72 there was one of the best battles so far. If not the best. Just because they keep talking about the two great military genious, it is easy to forget what others, more experienced strategists can do. And numerical disadvantage be damned.

The (second) last episode of Steins;Gate 0 has a huge reveal, or at least a confirmation, with big implications. So I'll wait until you guys finish it to discuss it. Btw, the last episode of Steins;Gate 0 takes place between episodes 12 or 13 iirc. But don't watch it until you finish the series because you would be spoiled. It is just a Valentine's day special and they mess things up, with some characters apparently aware of twists and reveals that only happened later. Probably just a funny episode, with no intention of making sense completely.

This is more or less what I believe too. Not that I'm even close to being a specialist in any of this. I imagine that, peaking or not, China's influence, at least in its neighbourhood, will increase and eventually they will have Taiwan without a war.

He is a moron, but things change when he watches his friends' lives are affected and endangered. So at least his behavior serves as a contrast to how he feels later (what you are already seeing). Good plan, considering how good that person is at doing this. But KP said how it would turn out.

A few more episodes of LoGH. Still not that interesting, but episode 59 told the story of the 2nd to 5th emperors. The second emperor was basically “The Man in the High Castle”: repression of democratic groups, but he was a fair ruler… for those loyal to him. The third emperor was more interested in concubines. And the fifth kept the tradition up to his 96 years. But not the fourth, this one would make Fish Eye proud. He even abdicated after one year, to run away with a boy. They explicitly said that the first emperor wouldn’t like having a homosexual descendant, since he did what he could to exterminate them. That is the Empire for you. To be fair, there is no evidence that these things continued 500 years later, when the series begins (except for concubines), but they did mention concentration camps once, so I wouldn’t bet against it.

I can accept magical nanotech, and many other things, but everyone knows you never plug a USB correctly on the first try. There is just so much suspension of disbelief can do.

Oh s***. I rewatched the end of episode 11 and the cliffhanger is in episode 12. Luckily I didn't give any spoilers. Saying they will need time travel is no surprise in this anime, right?

Wait, who said there is a twist? It's just a cliff hanger. If I gave that impression, I'm sorry. Anyway, now they need time travel for real.

And that is the worse moment I mentioned. Not only is it a horrible thing to do to anyone (regardless of gender, gender identity or whatever), but there is also no reason to do it. What did he expect? To touch it and prove to everyone what he was saying? And despite Kurisu punishing him for it, everyone just forgot about the whole thing pretty easily. Including Ruka. Maybe it is one of those things nobody wants to talk about anymore, but even then, you don't simply act as if nothing happened and have a normal relationship with the guy again. Even if he is your best friend.

Unless you get too curious and watch episode 12 right after 11. Don't worry, that is the last Faris gif I was waiting to post. I think.
