  1. Looks like the Clintons are "taking care of business" again: http://townhall.com/columnists/rachelalexander/2016/08/09/clinton-body-count-or-leftwing-conspiracy-three-with-ties-to-dnc-mysteriously-die-n2203000 I will say this... there has never been another Presidential couple who have had so many associates who dropped dead mysteriously. Not even the Kennedys for God's sake. Or Warren Harding and he actually WAS surrounded by real criminals!
  2. Yip, thats what happens in a police state.... they force you to wear seat belts I'm surprised you cant challenge this type of law through some kind of Constitutional court lawing? Well, you probably could. The problem comes down to enforcement as a few other sharp minds here pointed out. You see, the thing is driving is not a right. It's actually a privilege the state grants in return for agreeing a few basic rules. Since the state (meaning an actual state like New Jersey, not a generic term for government) grants the privilege it gets to make the rules. So, while this is nothing more that big brother, nanny state idiocy, it IS actually in their power to do it. Now, suppose I'm driving down the turnpike sipping a Venti Starbucks Italian Roast and the NJSP pulls me over for it. I slip the cup in between the seats. The trooper says he pulled me over for distracted driving. I take the ticket (because arguing with the cop is just f-----g stupid) then go to court to contest the ticket. The magistrate will say "were you drinking coffee?" I say "No Sir" (or "yes sir" doesn't matter). The magistrate will say "the cop says you were and I have to take his word". Now I've been convicted of a crime and I have standing to appeal. And on an appeal the whole thing comes in including the constitutionality of the whole law. Now the punishment for this is a fine. And probably not a big one. So to appeal I would be charging up a legal Hamburger Hill in a fight that will cost farm more than the infraction would. Which is why, probably, no one will do it. But there is a decent chance of reaching the top of that hill. Just look at Red Light Cameras. They were popping up everywhere and they have been soundly beaten in court by people who decided enough b------t is enough.
  3. I feel sorry for Tebow... he hasn't even had a workout yet and "it" has already started again: http://ballparkdigest.com/2016/08/09/boomers-make-offer-to-tim-tebow/ I'd bet at least 35% of the reason he can't get an NFL job is the circus that follows him around. I'd bet even he wishes it would stop.
  4. Here is some good news: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/debates-clinton-trump-johnson-stein-226806
  5. @Pidesco, I'm at work and can't give a full answer but just let me point out that in the US a privately owned vehicle is afforded the same 4th Amendment protections as a home or any other private property. So this law presumes the Sate can tell you what you can and can't do in the privacy of your own property.
  6. Tim Tebow is going to have a workout for all 30 MLB Teams: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/194521252/tim-tebow-reportedly-to-seek-career-on-diamond/ His natural position is outfield but I heard his throw into the SS from left field was intercepted by the baserunner going to first! (You have to know both baseball & Tim Tebow to get that one!)
  7. Can't be worse than their World Cup performance last year.
  8. So what do you guys think? 10 years in a labor camp or a case of 9mm-to-the-brain? http://sports.yahoo.com/news/north-korean-olympic-lifter-om-yun-chol-apologises-025009086.html
  9. The archery gold is up for grabs. The guy that always wins from South Korea just lost.
  10. New Jersey says you can't drink coffee in your car. Still think we live in a free country? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2016/08/08/nj-distracted-driving-bill-ban-motorists-drinking-coffee-road/88380406/ Oh, by the way, did you notice what political party is driving that b------t? The same ones that want to outlaw sodas, candy, and potato chips across the river.
  11. The US Nazi Party (called the ANP) has endorsed Donald Trump. The US Communist Party and the Black Panther Party (I didn't know they were still a thing) have endorsed Hillary Clinton. I'd just like to point out the only viable Presidential candidate who has not been endorsed by villains is Gary Johnson. Just sayin'
  12. Thanks for posting that Hurlshot. I never knew the story behind that picture.
  13. Not even close. But if you want to see which President has the most blood on their hands it's Woodrow Wilson hands down. 53k+ American Servicemen killed, 200k+ wounded. In a war that was none of our business. Presuming of course that US participation in WWII & the Civil War were unavoidable (since we were attacked first in each) those two don't count. Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon are a close 2nd & 3rd. 4th place Harry Truman is not even close.
  14. Yes that is a win for Liberty. But the sad thing is had the CRDA had their s--t together then the court would have sided with them under the precedent set by Kelo. I'll take it, it is a win. But not a complete one.
  15. Bruce, once again you have not answered my question. While it cannot be conclusively proven Iran learned of him through a compromised e-mail sent by Hillary Clinton, he WAS mentioned as a source in a compromised e-mail sent by Hillary Clinton. That fact is not in dispute. Therefore isn't it POSSIBLE then that Hillary Clinton's "extreme carelessness" exposed a US intelligence source and led to this man being executed? Please answer my question. It only requires a one word answer. Yes or No.
  16. Rugby Sevens is awesome! More so with chicks!
  17. No those are your words, this latest critique looks to me like your standard misunderstanding? She mentioned him in e-mails discussing US intelligence. Those e-mails were compromised. Iran executes him. It is not necessarily a connected sequence of events (post hoc ergo propter hoc after all) but it would be impossible to deny that there is a possibility that had Hillary used a secure e-mail server, like she was SUPPOSED to do, this man might be alive today. But Bruce it is of small use to discuss this with you. If Hillary Clinton herself told you flat out to your face she did something criminal you would convince yourself it wasn't true. No thats unfair, I extensively studied the email scandal issue I looked at every angle as I felt this was important and the truth is if Hilary was guilty I would have distanced myself from her So I'm not blind to any faults Then you will acknowledge then there may be a connection between her "extreme carelessness" and this mans execution?

  19. Hillary's extreme carelessness with her e-mail may not have been a victimless crime: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/cotton-clinton-discussed-executed-iranian-scientist-on-email/article/2598807

  21. In other news the Chicago Tribune has called for the CPD to include Gary Johnson: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/editorials/ct-gary-johnson-libertarian-debate-edit-20160805-story.html And Johnson/Weld has picked up their firs endorsement from a member of Congress: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/08/06/republican-rep-scott-rigell-says-he-supports-libertarian-gary-johnson-for-president/ Johnson/Weld is polling 2nd with voters under 30 of the 4 candidates and 1st in Active duty Military. Their "big 5" aggregate is 11.5% A little over a month to go to get that close to 15%.
  22. There are three debates coming up. One bad performance, just one might end one of their candidacies. Just ask Mike Dukakais. He ended his own bid with a bad debate.
  23. I told you not to get too excited. November is a long way way in election time: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-poll-idUSKCN10G2BQ
  24. http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/sports/Carmelo-Anthony-Mens-Basketball-Team-Rio-Legal-Brothel-389407891.html Carmelo Anthony should have said "We didn't know it was a brothel but we figured 'since were here...'" Hey, as long as the girls were... well.... girls this is a non-story. Unless that is what they were looking for then it's still a non story.
