  1. I do not know what to say for the handmaiden, when you end echani training, have full influence she should talk you about her mother and accept jedi training (I never did it completely because I had a bug that bringed me on the accademy on telos when I try to teach her the Jedi ways...) As both male and female you can turn Atton to a jedi bringing him to nar shadda in the refuges sector. There you will meet two twi-lek who tell you to be carefull about Atton. After that you can speak him and after a long discussion he will become a jedi. Ah, remember that there is another character who can be turned to a Jedi... P.S. I'm sorry for my errors writing in english but I'm italian... No need to apologise Luke, you're English is fine! ....h yes, I think you are talking about Bao-Dur as the other character....For some reason I have no idea which planet is the trigger for Bao-Dur so I gave up on him altogether!
  2. G'day Folks, I'm just wondering out aloud here....I have played through KOTOR 2 twice recently (once as LS Male then as LS Female) and there was one thing that has been bugging me. When I play as LS Male I can turn Atton/Mira/Visa into Jedi but not Handmaiden, no matter how much I try. I have gone through her 3 tiers of Echani training and have full influence but still to no avail. The same can be said for playing LS Female. I can get Mira/Disciple/Visa to go Jedi but not Atton. Am I missing something here? Cheers in advance Fluff
  3. Folks I may be providing some with a laugh here but I can't sem to solve one of the Ancient computer terminal puzzles even though I have gone thru it all in my head and it SHOULD work. It's the terminal where you have to (using +,-,*, & /) enter information to bring the total to 13 (i.e. (6_2)_8_9_1=13. Now I used the following: (6*2)-8+9/1=13 Imagine my surprise when the console blew up in my face. Glitch or not? Cos I've tried going thru all other possibilities to come to 13 without much success and I'm assuming here that you can only use each one once. *silently thinking to self* I bet I'm missing some big piece of picture here...lol edit: hmmmmm, tried it again and low-and-behold it worked....i could have possibly entered it in incorrect....lol...anyway all is good
  4. This is all immaterial......best part of KOTOR2: 'I'm not going to go charging up her loading ramp'
  5. Going into exile sounds rather peaceful....It doesn't matter which body is ruling/governing the known galaxy, corruption will always be there (i.e. the golden rule: whoever has the gold makes the rules). You might think the republic stands for democracy but at the end of the day it always seems the bureaucracy of government never lets it get anywhere. Sith rule, while not favourable, does seem to get the job done (albeit through use of fear/violence and obviously when there is one powerful enough to keep the little sithy rug-rats under control). I'd rather leave all that behind and live the quieter life on some planet out-of-the-way of the common traveller....
  6. What you say is true, but possibly for the wrong reasons. The Justice system is 'blind' as you say but is also corrupt to a point as well. And you don't need emotion to be corrupted. wrongful judgements are made everyday without emotion.
  7. Sometimes it comes down to the strength of character of the individual. No point shielding someone from strong emotions when they will have to face them at some point in their life anyway. Distancing yourself from those emotions doesn't make you stronger, facing and overcoming them while still being true to yourself is what matters. Anyone can get angry, but it's how that anger is dealt with that makes the difference. *philosophical cap now off* "
  8. Oh yes, im a geek if I DONT want to look at PIXILATED charecters wearing skimpy outfits. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pixilated characters wearing skimpy outfits .......... Porn anyone? (w00t)
  9. You may place your petition in your (_!_) for all the good it'll do you meatbags! (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)
  10. Indeed Does this tie in with 'charging up her cargo ramp'? (w00t)
  11. On these forums it seems. LOL. Very clever of OE to do this, and probably cost effective too! "
  12. You sure about that? If you think about it the 'concept' was taken from KOTOR1 and expanded upon. As for storyline, yes it was interesting but way too fragmented compared to the first. At least in the first you have the clarity of where the story could go, and while the ending of KOTOR1 wasn't that great (well LS anyway) it left you with much more closure than it's successor. STATEMENT: YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT MEATBAGS!
  13. I doubt that they will say anything... but if they do it will be pretty much worthless, i mean in what game has the villager known more or divulged more than a more major character? riddle me this! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not that important, I think one of them has a cut scene but nothing worthwhile comes out of it, just them having a whinge about the current conditions blah blah etc etc....
  14. I would give it about 7.5 out of 10. It's a good game don't get me wrong but it'sa little buggy and (from my 'certain point of view' ) the ending doesn't have the closure one would expect from this type of game, especially after the ending of the first KOTOR.
  15. You want a General Grievous clone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How about a toilet???? Gee with all that running around they never seem to get a chance to 'be at one' with nature! "
  16. Actually one thing that made me laugh was when I rescued the handmaiden and she got all 'emotional' with me then after that when I go to chat with her it's back to 'There is nothing to discuss, leave me alone'. LMAO *sniff* *sniff* do I smell a part-GLITCH?!?!?!?!?!?!
  17. ROTFLMFAO! sorta like this? ----> (w00t) Nice to see someone ELSE has a crude sense of humour! Must say though that KOTOR2 romances aren't as good as the first because (if you're male) there are at least 2 spunky women with which you can't get it on with!
  18. Ummm, have you ever thought about trying the handmaiden in the raw? Not too bad on the eyes almost as good as Bastila DS. " LMAO
  19. It wasn't so much to do with the listening quality as it was the 'type' of music used for the game. You didn't really feel the contrasts (e.g. Taris Upper City and Taris Lower City in KOTOR1 is a perfect example of the contrasts I am referring to). As much as you say you may not pay attention to the music it still plays a very important role with regards to a good gaming atmosphere.
  20. G'day Folks, I'm just writing to say that after finishing the game and listened to all the music I must say that compared to KOTOR1 the music in KOTOR2 is VERY dissapointing. It all seems to blend in with one another and you can't really tell them apart too much. As much as the game is meant to give an atmosphere of 'doom and gloom' there should have been a more varied soundtrack. At least with KOTOR1 if you listen to the tracks without playing the game you can pretty much tell what planet or what scene would be played, it just seemed to suit the type of environment you were in. Anyway I'll stop the griping but I would have thought that considering how important a soundtrack can play in a game (especially a Star Wars game) they would have done better than what we ended up with.
  21. Force Wave as it quickly gets rid of a whole bunch of sith towards the end of the game (handy against Sion too!). Mind you I was a Consular/Jedi Master with a s**tload of wisdom thrown in too soo for the most part there wasn't much anyone could do to save from it >=D
