Congratulations on Screwing it up Obsidian
I just wanted to extend my congratulations for shipping a sequel littered with major gameplay bugs that could not have been missed if this game had been beta-tested *at all*. Good job on screwing up the franchise. Honestly, did you think that you could get away with pushing out a game that didn't even play right? Let me list just a FEW of the problems that I've had so far and I'm not even half way through the game: -Random crashes (that never happened in the original) -Voice-over dialogue sequences being skipped/don't display properly at times -Horrible framerate at times -Many spelling errors/typos in dialogue -Trained Feats reseting and forever lost after training them (flurry mastery, for example) -MANY broken side quests (especially on Dantooine) When are you going to learn that gamers do not stand for this BS. Here's a piece of advice; don't make a game unless you're going to do it right because all you do is let down the community.

Lightsaber "Shut-off"
As a software developer myself, 10% polish goes a long way ... it's the little things and attention to detail that make a good game a great game. For example, they added weather effects to the engine ... not important ... but more polish ... see what I mean?

Lightsaber "Shut-off"
One of the things that really annoyed me in the original game was how the player's lightsaber wouldn't "shut-off" until 5 - 10 seconds after a battle was over. When NPC's controlled a character, it would shut off immediately, as expected. It should do the same for players -- Jedi shut off their lightsaber immediately ... reference the scene from Episode I in the hanger bay when Qui-gon was fighting the droids and the amount of time that transpired between the last hit, shutting off, and back on his belt was less than a second.

GamePlay
Sidequests are important to break up the gameplay, which makes the game feel more diverse. I would like to see more companion quests that are far more involved and lengthy.

Please Add Better Inventory Management
Inventory management in KotOR was terrible ... it could definitely be enhanced a little bit ... very hard to find/keep track of datapads, etc.

Returning charaters
Jolee was the best "true neutral" implementation I have ever seen in a game ... the character overall was extremely well-done and even though he dies when you play through as Dark Side, it would be cool to see him in the sequel

What I want to see in KOTOR II
One of my favorite parts of KotOR was where you first board the Star Forge and there's quite a few Jedi vs Sith battles going on -- this really added that "Epic" feel to the game. I would definitely like to see more of these epic-scale lightsaber fights in the sequel. The parts of the game that send "waves and waves" of enemies at you was a lot of fun too. There a great sense of accomplishment when the battle was over. IMHO, send 100 guys at me in waves, make them easy to kill so I can mow them down like a Jedi really does ... that, my friend, is fun; a really long, continuious fight! Additionally, I would like to see some flips & jumps, etc. into basic lightsaber combat.

The simultanius Xbox and PC release...
I think you guys are getting ahead of yourselves ... the original PC version was really co-developed and not really a "port" ... remember that KotOR2 will build on the existing PC version and will likely not be "re-ported" from the XBOX version.

KotOR 2 @ E3
The music in the first game was good ... I would like to see some more along the lines of Duel of the Fates.

What I want to see in KOTOR II
This is a very MINOR issue but it still annoys me in the original ... When a battle is over, the "active" character's lightsabre does not shut off immediately; it stays on for a few seconds. Non-player-controller characters lightsabers shut off instantly once the battle is over (as they should). One thing I would like to see "enhanced" is when using lightsabers to open doors/strongboxes. If you could somehow implement it in a way like Qui-Gon Jinn did in the opening combat scene of Episode I where he used his lightsabre to "melt" the door -- would be cool.

What missions do you want to see?
I would like to have more-involved, longer companion quests.

KotOR 2 @ E3
Can we expect to see more details, high-res screens and video at this year's E3?
