  1. I suggest playing it dark side. Ive done both, what I liked is that the influence under dark side means more ten under light side. It's just piss easy to get people on your side if you're the personifaction of good. Also the dark side is alot stronger then the light side The dark side offers power you can't imagine, control over the life of the weak and unworthy, you will take your rightfull place in the galaxy. You know you want to...
  2. Sometime back I couldn't decide between another PC or taking an Xbox. I never had a game console before and the lack of games and having a controler instead of a keyboard seemed like a downside. Turns out the controler for the xbox fits like a glove, I don't miss a keyboard in the least. I tnink the biggest grip I have with the xbox is that there arent any (decent) mmorpgs on it. For a time there wasa rumour that SWG would be released for the xbox, but for some reason that never came through. I think I like the Xbox better then the PS2 and GC, because the games on those(as far as I know) are to oriented on the asian market. I really dont like all that manga/super mario crap. Perhaps that isn;t the case at all but thats just what I associate it with. So my rating is 1) PC 1.5) Xbox 3) PS2/Game Cube I can't wait for the Xbox 2. I only hope that they for once put all that extra processor power to increasing the gameplay/depth of the games instead of just better looking graphics. I prefer immersiveness over "look-but-dont-touch".
  3. Whatabout a compromise, one where Visas force chokes Carth?
  4. Ya, I've been following that comic for a while and although some are abit less overall it's really good. My favorite is definatly nr 55, "the truth about paladins".
  5. I wondered about the lipstick to. I just can't imagine anyone on that ship of darth nihilius(whatever) being concerned about their appearance. I mean, seems to me you be worried about other things, like living another day. So the only logical conclusion is that she's not wearing lipstick but has very red lips by nature....
  6. Let me first say that I'm no SWG player so put this comment in that context. I remember reading many months ago that jedis in SWG were overpowered compared to other characters and that gave balancing problems. In a sense jedis are a dilema because they're supposed to be more powerfull then other "classes", yet at the same time you have to make things fair for others players. Therefor I personally think that perhaps a heavy penalty on death is the only thing SWG could do to balance it out. Either that or remove them from the game. I played ultima online for 4 years. The powerfull characters always get screwed over, which not coincedently are always those of power players. It doesn't suprise me then that a powerplayer is so negative about SWG, I would be to if someone asked me of the current state of Uo. All that and the man's name is Ralph Koster, not Koser
  7. Noteworthy moments in KOTOR 1 I thought were the Sith academy, the end where you could kill party members who rebeled against you and the questioning of that prisoner on manaan. Im sure there were more good moments, those are the first to come to mind.
  8. I thought that being evil didn't have the pay off it deserved. I think there should be something that clearly tempts you to do the unethical. If you got a choice between helping in a good way and causing someones death, yet both instances have more or less the same pay-off, then why would anyone choose for the second? It has to either pay more or be much more easier to be evil then to be good. If that isn't the case then you're simply being evil for the sake of being evil, and that's just stupid.
  9. Is it me or does she have a tongue piercing
  10. This bothers me too. Personally I prefer playing a female PC because I'd rather watch a chicks then a guys behind, and ofcourse evil woman are just sexy, however because of all the Attons and Carths than hitting on you make such chars unplayable. So please Obsidian, in KOTOR 3 more girl on girl romance.
  11. My own feelings are abit of both. I think the story was alot better then the first one, KOTOR 1 had nice plot twists but I think it doesn't have the depth the sequel has. On the other hand I thought that the levels themselves were less well designed. I remember in KOTOR 1 I used computer skill, repair, demolition and stealth much much more then here. There are a few instances where you could kill npcs by remote(computer/robot), but in those cases it was easier to just whack them. But then again, I did like that skills had use in conversations, I don't remember KOTOR 1 having that.
