  1. Hey, here's a slightly amusing glitch. Either my Ebon Hawk's exit ramp has started projecting holograms or Carth's died and come back as a force ghost. (This occured shortly after persuading T3 to play his hidden message.) Side note: I know this glitch was mentioned before but the guy said he had no screenshot.
  2. I'm tempted to say the fish are just 'placeholder' models and never got removed. Likely there was supposed to be something else there but when the game's release came up there wasn't time (as this area was removed)
  3. Although he does have a point... A lot of these issues should have been caught and fixed long before the game was released to the public. I also find it hugely ironic that a group of players can release a fix for a problem like this before OE or LA.
  4. However, the ATI card I'm using is listed as supported by the game (or was last time I checked.) Either the game should work with it or the card should be listed as not supported. In addition this is the only game I've had this problem with in relation to framerate problems. This suggests it's something in the game and not purely a driver issue. Ontop of that 5.4 was suppost to fix these problems and the latest patch was suppost to help. So far nothing has.
  5. My bug with the ending is that it leaves me confused and befuddled. After all the choices I was told I would have - going off into the unknown or staying with friends I am given none of them. Nothing is ever shown what happened to the companions. And how did the Ebon Hawk (last seen plummeting downwards) suddenly get me in it to fly away from the planet? Why did the plannet explode after GoTo disabled Bao-Dur's droid? In addition I keep feeling like I can't get closure. With side quests such as the HK droids hinted at but not present and others, such as the escaped criminals, not being able to be completed.
  6. Here's the fun thing about this patch. It doesn't fix the ATI framerate problems. And (on my PC at least) neither does updating the drivers. Bearing in mind the ATI cards are listed as supported... In addition there are a lot of other bugs that havn't been fixed. Someone made the comment that it would take too much money and time to fix them, well no **** Sherlock. It will. But they should have been fixed before the game was released. I take it from reading previous posts I'm not the only one that questions whether any QA work was done on this game. And I am glad for this patch and that it fixes issues. I just wish that the game had been released as a finished product not as a beta...
  7. I hate to say it... But this game seems to have way too many bugs and besides the international update I have yet to see any other patches :rolleyes:/ Oh. Ontop of that, when I emailed LucasArts for support on it they told me because I wasn't in the US (I'm in England) they don't do support! (I've seen about half the problems in this thread myself and reported all to LucasArts only to get the aforementioned email. :devil:/)
  8. Oh come off it. You make it sound like it is the end of the world or something. There have been plenty of other games that were more buggy when they were release than KotOR 2. Ultima 9, Pool of Radiance 2, Neverwinter Nights, Temple of Elemental Evil, and so forth and so on. A patch is being made so reign in the "I am never buying another game from them." Buggy games on release is not a big deal. How well they support the game afterwards is. If they don't support the game then I am in full agreement. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think it's obsidian's fault... More likely LA rushed them to get it out... Which would also explain the 'lets put all the toys back in the box' ending and missing bits of story (HK tells you about a droid factory but it never shows up in the game etc.) However, the main problems in terms of bugs that I've seen actually fixed seems to be the ATI card crash issue (moving from one area to another and the game crashes) this is fixed by simply updating the drivers. However, there is one bug that I can't fix... Whenever I enter a swoop race my swoop appears on the ceiling. Meaning I can't hit boosters or anything like that. Any suggestions?
  9. Well... I have no doubt some of these have been listed before but here's the whole list of them (as I've already got it typed out for other places from trying to sort them... ) Most areas in the game I can run around quite happily on the maximum detail settings yet on the Khoonda plains on Dantooine the game lags to hell and back even on the minimum settings. This suggests it's probably the game and not my system otherwise why the hell doesn't this happen elsewhere? Or in other games for that matter? In swoop racing my swoop ends up moving along the ceiling! This may not seem like a problem because I can miss all the obstacles. The problem is it means I also miss the speed boosters. So that's the swoop racing out of the window. In conversations characters get caught behind doors and other pieces of scenery. Or just can't be seen in screen. Or the camera is inside the character. A classic example of this is in the Telos station where the Ithorian is supposed to come into the room. Throughout the whole of the conversation he was behind a shut door. More on the conversations. The game suddenly skipping through the whole conversation at top speed. Really... How am I supposed to read that? Sound not playing during movies. It's not nearly as dramatic to watch the insertion onto the Onderon surface in silence. In some areas the NPC's don't follow me around (for example on the Harbinger) and just stand at one location. I killed the Exchange guy on Nar Shadda to help the refugees... And he then comes back to life to trouble me in the bar... Mira in that same bar on Nar Shadda... She wasn't wearing the spacesuit. So it looked a bit odd just having her walking through in her normal clothes. And then there's the random exits to desktop... Now I know there are problems with the older ATI drivers so mine are nicely updated to a version (supposedly) tested and supported. Only sometimes the game will just freeze for thirty seconds or so and then exit out to the desktop. What fun. Again, I'm sure some of these will have been covered but that's the full list of my problems and so far I havn't seen any way of fixing these that works.
  10. Yes. That's happening to me. I have not yet found or heard of any way around it. I'm seriously hoping that there's a patch out soon to sort some of the bugs - this being just one of them. (Lets see... I went onto the LA support site and had to enter all the problems I was having... Took a while... )
