  1. Even I laughed at me when I invented this cross-species analyzer! But I guess I showed myself!
  2. Oh so romance is all about looks eh? Ugly aliens do not deserve love? THIS JUST PROVES THE SHALLOWNESS OF THE PROMANCERS. I may not be totally serious there.
  3. I am not going to play ESO because I dislike the plot quite a bit. I am just going to wait for the next ES game and hope it is not "canon" in the main SP game series.
  4. It should be translated into Latin. In fact it should only be available in Latin. 'Columnas Aeternitatis'
  5. can't afford to buy games at those prices with my stipend. why? am I not allowed here unless I keep paying for this "privilege"? Huh? "Privilege"? What are you talking about? I was asking what you were doing with your time hanging out here since it sounded like you were not that interested in the game they were making. I did not realize you are interested you just cannot. My apologies.
  6. So...what are you doing here then? Big SoT fan?
  7. What the.... I don't know he seemed pretty serious about it.
  8. I am suddenly uncomfortable with the direction this thread is going heh Anyway frat boys and football players are young and good looking. And most of the women who love them are age appropriate.
  9. Sorry Valmy but I have to dismiss that characterization of mens activists with utter contempt and say it is complete nonsense. Unless you can provide me some links that corroborate your post? Apology accepted and um no I don't care that much. Well check that if I can find it on Google in less than 30 seconds I will... Hey look I did: http://freethoughtblogs.com/almostdiamonds/2014/04/13/but-how-do-you-know-the-mras-are-atheists/
  10. Most "men's rights" activists are literally children right? It seems like I saw some poll where virtually all of them were under 21.
  11. I just got back from the auto-da-fé
  12. I hope 39.99. I, and many RPG fans, will be getting this at release. Obsidian should not worry, a profit will be made. Now I just hope they reward our confidence.
  13. I still am not totally convinced of this. This seems to indicate that a lack of romance automatically means a less immersive and memorable RPG experience and any RPG without romance is automatically inferior. As I said I guess we will see if Obsidian a chance but it would be nice to at least keep an open mind and not just go into it already convinced it will be a failure and demanding they correct it in PoE2.
  14. Took it. Weird giving feedback on a game I have not played yet though.
  15. That is what they do: cinematic gameplay.
  16. I am amazed this many of us play Ironman. That is crazy. I guess it is exciting eh? I mean when you are not having to start all over after 40 hours.
  17. Only they had already gone full 'team-suit' in ME1. They even have an entire race, the Quarians, based around it.
  18. It was so unnecessary. I remember when we got out in some hazardous environment and I looked at Miranda expecting her to have a helmet on and groaned when I saw she had that breath mask thing on. Shouldn't the fact we are in basically zero G be killing her right now? I mean not to be a realism stickler but Bioware had this problem taken care of in the previous game in the series. Actually trying to do Sci Fi a bit seems to have been a ME1 thing only.
  19. I generally like hard but not so hard that I have to get gamey to beat everything. I always want to take everything on straight up. For example I always played the hardest level on most Bioware Games because they were hard enough to get me to think but I never did the super hard mode on Icewind Dale where each Goblin has the Hit Points of a Balrog. If I don't have to worry about dying it takes the tension out and I just don't respect an encounter until it has shown it can kill me a few times. But, on the other hand, I want to be able to beat it when I figure out how it works.
  20. As a total EU dork who played the board game back in 1997 (and bought Paradox's EU1 on release) it blows my mind to see this style of game becoming so mainstream. Sort of like that guy who was a big fan of Game of Thrones back in the 90s watching it become this HBO phenomenon.
  21. I have to say it is almost kind of a rush to play a RPG where I have to pay attention and think about what I have to do next. Crazy. I could get used to this.
  22. I hear you regarding the melodrama, but it'd be pretty tough to get more "contrived" than the main plots to Baldur's Gate and Knights of the Old Republic were. I didn't think much about Baldur's Gate was too illogical given the setting. Well until Throne of Bhaal but they had a lot to wrap up in a short period of time. KOTOR I guess did go into some bizarre territory.
  23. Oh yeah Sarevok's armor was stupid. He looked like a clown. I wonder how the Dukes of Baldur's Gate took him seriously dressed like that.
