I just tested that I can go from Port Maje straight to Neketaka and met Thaenic on the way, buy slippers. Just did some stuff in Queen's Berth and Periki - including Arkemyr's Manor. Still 21 days for Neketaka/Hasongo. I can use barrels to trigger invisibility and then prolongue it with Cabalist's Gambeson I already have with proper enchantment. Now I can easily do any quest in Neketaka, robe and steal anything, explore entire old city and hanging sepulchers without stealth mode. I will do the quest with Rymrgand as the last. Then I should buy voyager and some helpful stuff for sailing speed, go to Hasongo and later catch Thaenic one more time to buy Magran's Chosen Belt, jester cap, another pair of boots for dex immunity. I don't remember how much money can be gathered in Neketaka alone, but should be enough for the ship and some of its upgrades.

Yeah I have figured it out after creating another test character with fully explored world map from Berath's blessing. Now I can easily pinpoint Deck of Many Things 27/5. Now I consider another route. I can start Maje > Sandswept Ruins > Deadlight > Dunnage or just sail straight to Neketaka from Port Maje and met Thaenic right before the port of the city. Then I could buy slippers and do Arkemyr's Mansion for Cabalist's Gamebson and abuse the trick to literally loot & steal everything in the city, do all quests without loosing presious time in stealth mode in old city and hanging sepluchers. Then go to Hasongo and have more time to do what must be done for Scordeo's Edge and Current's Rush before even confronting lava dragon. I guess it's all will be try and error. I want to test something new. I could just copy one of most popular runs with skaen/bm.

So I'm playing Deadfire again with a goal to complete ultimate challenge. I should have done this long time ago, but I was demotivated by potentially tedious work and I've never really try it. I have much more fun playing with party. I did some research in last few days and omg - the exploits you all have found are hilarious. Years ago I new about procing brilliant, spamming BDD and SoT, but it seemed so boring in a long run, that I never wanted to do it myself. I never cheesed with SoF or Cabalist's Gambeson but it looks like everything besides pure cheating is allowed, and I'm sure this one exploit will do the trick for my run. Slippers of the Assassin looks like something what can trivialize exploration and stealth sections. I'm playing as SC Nalpazca monk. Currently in my test run without Wael's challenge and ToI. The goal is to trigger and prolong most of usefull buffs (Scordeo's etc.) and consumables (drugs and more fun stuff), use Dichotomus Soul for tanking and pulling Arcane Dampener, Stunning Surge with some blunderbuss/mortar cheese for getting back mortification, Resonant Touch and ofcourse WotW with Hand Mortar and Current's Rush. Perception and Intellect are maxed out. I will be using Xoti's Lantern to restore mortification on summoned blights from Magran's belt. I need to plan optimal route to do Beast of Winter early for the scepter. I think it will be doable as SC monk, even with Vela. Combining summoned blight with Dichotomus Soul should keep her frightened in place while initiate agro in any main fight - on top of some shenaingans with scrolls of Withdraw, leap from the boots and some CC. Only Scyroielaphas, Rymrgand and SSS arena seem to be challenging because of small distance between enemies and Vela. I'm not sure how it will go with Auranic and her stones, but summons should be enough to make her loose all spells. I'm learning some conversations again, because I never played with english text. Tbh I just started (completed Fort Deadlight and visited Dunnage). I can't find 100% accurate information about the bridge interaction in SSS - the buggy one. I read that it requires 14 mechanics or 14 survival to check the bridge and then 14 Dex or some Athletics to cross it? I never really paid attention to this obstacle while playing with party. Also - is there any method that allows to guess current location of Deck of Many Things or its route is it totally random? I hope I will work it out. I have something special for Josh Sawyer in my run. My watcher should get his attention with some funny, nostalgic reference with the name and the portrait.

I dig up some footage from game files. It’s showcase of 80 active abilities from early development. Most of these abilities were cut from the game. I spent entire day making this video. It’s 42 minutes long. You can see cool ideas with Circle of Protection, Stasis Shell, Spirit Reflection, Vanishing Strikes, Dimensional Seal, Mental Binding, Warding Seal, Whisper of Treason and more. It can take some time to process this video to 4k by youtube. I just uploaded it. Lists of tutorial videos: Barbarian Barbaric Retaliation Barbaric Smash Battle Cry (Barbaric Yell?) Results of my test are: - Spell damage scales with character level but it can be penalized by low quality of equipped weapon. You need equipped weapon or offhand at least the tier of the enemy (in reach of 3 ranks) to not suffer penalty to damage done (this penalty scale also with difficulty settings). - Summoned weapons scale with the highest tier of equipped items - including boots, gloves, neklace, rings. Accessories don't have quality prefix but they are color coded (blue = fine, purple = excellent, red = superb, gold = legendary). Summoned weapons scale to both quality and rank of the highest quality armor or weapon (max to legendary +3), but in tests with accessory only summoned weapon always use its tier +0. - Skulls indicators aren't important. They inform of challange rating only. With tier II armor and tier I weapon enemy of tier II has no skulls while player is still penalized in terms of damage done, but he will receive normal damage from that enemy thanks to fine armor. Skulls are calculated based on all equipped items, but penalty to damage output and incoming damage are two separated things, realitve to enemy tier while damage is done.

I did one full playthrough on PotD in a non optimal way. I left Dawnshore with exceptional Philosopher's Riddle and exceptional Seven Strivings and fine Stelgaer's Pride. I dismantled all the rest before. I managed to upgrade 2h weapon to superb in the middle of Emerald Stairs and at the end of that zone I improved my armor to superb. I was able to upgrade my weapon to legendary at the beginning of Shatter Scarp. I did 2 PotD speedruns of Dawnshore but I tried different things - first was making a template common weapon and I run out of herbs with exceptional wand +1. Second time on PotD I tried do this with bow and it was pointless because I didn't consider that it will require more materials. Third try was on normal difficulty (for science and mostly because of lack of time, most people are playing on normal, games are balanced around normal difficulty). I bought fine pistol and then loot Caeroc's Pride. The rest is in the first post. The idea with necklace increasing looted money is good. I used it too, but most of the time after rescuing the ambassador. I also intimidate and persuade people for additional gold. Somehow I missed that PotD increases number of materials required for upgrade xD Is it adra only or iron/wood and herbs too? I know higher difficulty increases vendor's prices for sure. It reduces rewards too, like skeyts given by two arguing people near shipyard whatever you pick - junk or galeon as the best ship. On normal it's 500 skeyts, on PotD it's 300. I'm currently playing on PotD with full run in mind. For now I'm using spear and shield, but I plan to focus on Citzal's Spirit Lance. Unarmed combat perk is interesting choice but I doubt that it will have impact on looted uniques. It can be easy to verify.

The game can be played in borderless window or in window but not in fullscreen. Screen tearing is terrible in higher framerate so V-sync is mandatory. Fullscreen would allow to use free sync in higher framerate. Can you please add option for fullscreen?

If it's the one on the table, then it's straight front from the water, upstairs and through the door through short corridor. There is Wael's totem piece nearby. -
One Last Drink Solutions
Silvaren replied to RomanTorchwick's topic in Avowed: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
I did it two times. Two times I persuaded Ruanga to met the captain. It seems to require that you suggest her that you will switch the drinks. She doesn't trust you, so there you have few options. First time I did pro-Living Lands run so I spared Ygwulf, I saved Fior mes Iverno, I saved the sulfur mines, I spared two guards on watchtower etc. She considered me to be trustworthy and agree to met the captain. I could switch the drinks. Second time I didn't do anything good for local population, I played pro-Aedyr, so she didn't trust me and I had no deeds to convice her that I will switch the drinks, so the only way was to pick resolve check. Both times I could switch the drinks. I think it's crucial to convince her that you came up with the plan to swtich the drinks. If you didn't suggest it maybe it's impossible? I thought that without such plan she never met with the captain. -

There are three pieces of the statue - heart, hand and head. Did you trigger conversation with Yatzli about the book on the altar? Did you met a NPC from the village near the head (iirc it was the head there)? Two pieces of the statue are on the left from enterance. The last one is on the right side, in upper part under huge statue on the cliff. There will be a NPC. He will begg you to not take it because it will kill him.
