What happens if you kill all the crew characters

What happens if you kill your crew on multiple mutinies, do you ran out of options? Will you be unable to sail with the minimum crew?

 

Suggestion: let us recruit custom crew members just like we recruit custom sidekicks.

You can sail with minimal crews except the boat will be at the minimal possible stat and you will fail all sea encounter that require certain crew level.

I made a mistake there. You can sail below* minimal crew just with super terrible ship stat.

I remember that after killing my crew when they staged a mutiny I could still sail around on my ship of the damned, but I couldn't do any fights. It only gave me surrender terms and when I refused them it was a game over.

That is sad. If we could hire more crew members indefinitely then I could have more mutinies and more killing.

 

But who knows, maybe it's because nobody wants to join a doomed ship...
