Though, Deadfire fever is currently at an all-time high.  I feel like it's guaranteed to be a while before any Pathfinder news slips out.

Yep. Other projects Are in the focus now. So very unlikely in foreseen future. After deadfire is out. It takes a quite a time bug fixes to it Until the devs Are free to next project.

What do you mean, nuance to chew over?  At least with Pathfinder Adventure, there isn't much new to try

I hope not, but it seems that the developers were moved to other games by Obsidian and then they managed to create the Goblins!adventure 2. Let's hope they will get back to the game, fix some obvious and easily correctable bugs and ... maybe ... bring some new content. The probability of that is, however, pretty low - I think.
