Madscientist
I can imagine that Barring Death's Door + summon could be quite neat as tanking tool against the really big bosses. How does this spell work? Lets say a char has 10HP, you cast the spell on him, he gets hit for 100 damage but survives because of the spell and then you heal him before the spell runs out. Does the char survive and does he get all damage taken when the spell ends ( so you have to heal at least 91points to stay alive after the spell)? Boeroer
As long as the spell is up (10 sec base) you can't go down. If I remember correctly you'll simply not drop below 1 health (but can be healed normally). Shieldbearers have a similar ability. Spleenless_Extortionist
I wanted to create a cipher/wizard character since multiclassing announcement. What I came up with so far is wizard(probably specialist)/beguiler combination, which uses wazard debuffs setting SA qualifying afflictions, then proceeds with "free" crowd control powers. However I don't know if this build idea is anywhere near viable, since I cannot actually playtest it. Maybe trickster will be better than wizard for this tactic, since SA should work exceptionally well with ciphers in general.
