Camonge
I'm not really a fan of uber powerful cleric spells thematically. This glory I lend to archmages and archdruids. Anyway, like ciphers that Voss mentioned, priests have better low level abilities.
Boeroer
Paladin/Priest is a solid multiclass combo - also because of Spiritual Weapon + FoD/Enduring Flames which leads to several strikes with +80% lash (FoD) and lots of attacks with 70% (Eduring Flames) and makes a really decent damage dealer. Good supporter, too. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Boeroer
Hello there! I'd like to ask what everyone thinks about the following build for a Paladin + Druid multiclass Kind Wayfarer + Fury 2H-Greatsword Uses Firebrand alongside passives like Scion of Flame and actives like Flames of Devotion and Zealous Focus to increase the damage output. And transform into a Storm Blight to deal damage to Enemies that have a stronger resistance to Fire and/or Slash (Plated armor enemies for ex.). The spirit shifted form is powered by passives like Wild Strike shock and shock spells like Returning Storm. Uses Lay on Hands whenever healing is needed. I reckon the following stats should be ok... M 16 C 8 D 10 P 16 I 18 R 10 I'm open to suggestions, is this a decent build or should I adjust it or scrap it altogether? (this idea actually started from mixing a Devoted and Lifegiver but I realized the Devoted subclass hinders the damage output when spirit shifted) I liked the idea and toyed around a bit with it. It is a viable pick but not overly powerful. It's pretty versatile though. Firebrand per se is not very powerful and I would not recommend it in its current state, but I found out the following: Choose Scion of Flame + Heart of The Storm (useful anyways because of your elemental spells), shift into Storm Blight and do Flames of Devotion: you will have +2 PEN because Blight's attacks are stirm based and FoD is fire based. Pretty cool. Also the jump gets that bonus. If you only attack one enemy both (initial attack und jump) will hit him. Unfortunately with normal attacks under Eternal Devotion you ony get the bonus from Heart of the Storm. It also doesn't help to pick Widstrike Burn instead of Shock. A Bleak Walker/Fury gets +3 PEN from Scion of Flame, Spirit of Decay and Heart of the Storm when executing FoD. So all in all you can make this into a decent spellcaster with healing powers and good weapon damage. Too bad White Flames would trigger twice with dual wielding. THe jump of the Blight form unfortunately doesn't trigger White Flames a second time. 1 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
baldurs_gate_2
Shieldbearer Paladin + Chanter multiclass with summons seems pretty strong.

I guess I'll have to find a unique weapon and hope it has fire enchantment so I get more use out of Scion of Flame lol. Thanks for the input! Max_zero
the only thing that concerns me a bit about a beckoner-paladin build is that it kinda shoehorns you into that specific build and you'll do the same for every fight -> summon -> flames -> summon -> flames etc... not sure if that doesn't get boring over 100 hours You know I was thinking the exact same thing. I know a Paladin/Beckoner is effective but after you use your shared FoDs what else do you do except auto attack? Add to that having a tanking class combined with another tanky class seems a bit of a waste. To me I thinking what would synergise with Beckoner not on an ability level but on a playstyle level. For example: Beckoner/Helwalker. The idea being that Helwalker is a great offensive character (Might/acc/attackspeed/lash) but is really fragile. So he can hide behind the summons while dpsing and even gives a +10 int boost (eventually). Another one may be Wizard(Evoker)/Beckoner. This is purely a playstyle combo where the Wizard is good in shorter fights but weaker in longer ones whereas Beckoner are tilted in the opposite direction. So when the Wizard runs out of steam then fight has gone on long enough for the Beckoner to really hit their stride.
