Aefyllath Ues Mith Fyr + cold lash

Recommended Posts

No, not 50%!

You get two times 25%: 25% + 25%

You might say: where's the difference?

The difference is that one 50% lash would have to overcome 1/4th of enemy's burn DR while two 25% lashes will each have to overcome the same 1/4th of enemy's burn DR.

Imagine 12 burn DR and a single lash of 10 burn damage compared to two burning lashes of 5. First variant would do 10-(12/4) = 7 burn damage while the second would to 5-(12/4) + 5-(12/4) = 4.

So they do stack, but the percentages of lashes don't get simply added to a bigger lash.

Well, technically it's 50% damages against 50% DR.

Which basically multiply your damages by 1.5. It's the closest thing from a true 50% in the complicate world of PoE damage mulitpliers.

However, a 50% lash from one source (Flames of Devotion or Torment Reach) is actually more than 50% more damages ^^

If you use Aefyllath Ues Mith Fyr with secrets of rime and together with scion of flame , does that increase damage ? or is it the same as with just scion of flame ?  i mean if using cold lash plus scion of flame and secrets of rime increse damage or ist it the same as with just scion of flame

Erm... what? Don't understand what exactly you mean. :)

Secrets of Rime has zero effect on a Mith Fyr lash.

Scion of Flame has also zero effect when the char uses a weapon with a freezing lash.

If a char has a weapon with a burning lash and Mith Fyr - then both burning lashes would get raised from 25% to 30% with Scion of Flame.

If a character has Mith Fyr and a weapon with a freezing lash, then Scion of Flame would raise the Mith Fyr lash from 25% to 30% and Secrets of Rime would raise the freezing lash from 25% to 30%.
