This is probably going to sound silly, but why is there ONE shade of "blond" hair and EIGHT shades of RED?  It's basically impossible to make a decent looking medium-brown, I keep winding up with a ghastly peach monstrosity.

If you appeal to "realism" about a video game feature, you are wrong. Go back and try again.

Not silly at all! I'll see what can be done about this.

It's also currently impossible to match the shade of hair coloring in this portrait:

Believe me, I have tried. :(

I am personally doing a pass on all the tints - you'll have these options at release for sure.

Yay! It would be awesome if there were tints at least ballpark close to all the default portrait skin/hair colors! Last I gave it a go there was at least one Orlan it was hard to match.

Or simply a Primary & Secondary "Color Wheel" ? [saturation & Contrast 0% > 100%]

Infinite degrees of variations. I wonder why it's not a Default Implementation in many games...

A color is just a color, I really don't know why we're always restricted to limited finite choices for colors.

Not pointing at Deadfire in particular, it's in every game. But that's still kinda dumb.  :ermm:

Good to know more will be available though !
