Ranger is good, but not really at the level of devoted or Berserker and few others classes. Main problem for me, if I want to play Melee ranger, the interresting concept is the sharshooter but it is impossible to make it profitable. I think, this is not a big problem indeed, but the concept of Sharshooter is proximity attack. So... Why not extend the Penetration +2 for melee characters ? If the background of the class is a problem and the name (greatly affiliated at the sniper, I confess), perhaps remane it like "Scout or Pathfinder". Because I have try to play, but this is a little bit strange to micro a ranged character like that. Impossible to view exactly the distance (> or < 4m). So... Logic want a melee character but this is impossible. What do you think of this idea ? Edited January 7, 2018 by theBalthazar

Heijoushin Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 I agree that it's a little difficult to judge what "4m" means in game. But we have more than enough melee characters. Why not leave the Sharpshooter to be a ranged specialist as the name implies? You can play a Stalker if you want a melee ranger. 3
