The full screen checkbox in Pillars of Eternity doesn't work. I've tried applying this checked and unchecked I've tried changing the resolution as well. It doesn't matter what I try, every time I launch the game, my taskbar is always visable. Unfortunately, the game is unplayable this way and critical UI buttons are cut off behind the task bar. I am using Windows 10 64-bit and a nVidia GPU.

All support for Pillars of Eternity is being handled by the developers Obsidian. Please contact them on their forum

or email

Thank you.

I would use the eMail address. It's very unlikely that a developer will answer your question here. In the past Aarik D (community manager) was helping a lot, but I guess they are so busy right now with PoE2 that there's not much time for him to look into the forums.

It may be that there is a user who can help you though...

Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

No idea what the problem could be. But you could try the following:

- v1. Update NVidia drivers

- v2. Disable Aero as described here: https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/308495/windows-10-taskbar-will-be-in-front-of-fullscreen-games

- v3. Try to force full screen as shown:
