luzarius Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Path of the damned is too hard, but hard is too easy. Any ideas? Having trouble with the games combat on POTD, Trial of Iron? - Hurtin bomb droppin MONK - [MONK BUILD] - [CLICK HERE] - Think Rangers suck? You're wrong - [RANGER BUILD] + Tactics/Strategies - [CLICK HERE] - Fighter Heavy Tank - [FIGHTER BUILD] + Tactics/Strategies - [CLICK HERE] Despite what I may post, I'm a huge fan of Pillars of Eternity, it's one of my favorite RPG's. Anita Sarkeesian keeps Bioware's balls in a jar on her shelf.
Boeroer Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 (edited) Path of the Hardened? If hard is too easy PotD shouldn't be too difficult for you. The early game is significantly harder, but once you reach Defiance Bay it's all too easy again. Edited February 12, 2017 by Boeroer 1 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Uni Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 You could only use 4 or 5 people in party at once.
Heijoushin Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 (edited) Difficultly is... difficult to balance. My only suggestion is that you make some self-imposed challenges. Try beating the game with a rogue-only party, or using only guns, or with one hand tied behind your back etc. Edit: It's actually kind of cheeky that you want a challenge but say POTD is too hard. Do you want a game perfectly calibrated for your sweet spot? Edited February 12, 2017 by Heijoushin
KDubya Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 What I find hard is how game developers keep using male facial structures for their female characters. I mean look at Maneha and tell me I'm wrong.
Boeroer Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Why? She looks like Sigourney Weaver. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Messier-31 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Normal mode is too normal. It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air...
explosionsky Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 It's hard to balance the game with lots of side quests. Maybe on hard / POTD difficulties, we can assume 50% / 80% of side quests are solved and increase difficulties for later fights.
