Did anybody watch the Lakers/Spurs game tonight? This is one for the history books! Go Lake-show!!:lol::lol: :D

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Didn't watch it; but I'm glad the Lakers won. :)

Some people with a heart condition probably keeled over!

Yeah, but aren't you the one who said there was no doubt that the Spurs were *easily* better than the Lakers? of course, that's when the series was 2-0 in their favour. Tsk, tsk. Like I said the two teams are pretty much equal. It cna still go either way.

actually I didn't say that, I said

Thats why the Spurs are the better team, because they are just that, a team. Having the Lakers win is prolly worse for the sport than the low ratings (tho Detroit and the Pacers will draw heavy from places like Chicago).

but I still say the Spurs are the better team

Go spurs

I didn't. I'm rooting for my team though. Pistons. I've been surprised by the Tigers this year in baseball. They Don't Suck Anymore! :) 'Bout damn time too.

But the Lions still suck so HA :)

Anybody watching this Dywane Wade play (heat/pacers)? Man o man is he something special.

Yeah, he was special...he's nothing, for the time being, though.

I'm not quite sure how, but that makes me hate the Lakers more.

I should make that my avatar.

Silence of Spurs fans = priceless.

I loved the fact that Fisher was practically out of the stadium by the time anyone reacted.
