Lead Key from Woedica priestess at end of catacombs

Did anyone ever figure out what the lead key you get off the cult priestess at the end of the woedica temple in the catacombs does?

you don't need it to open any doors there, and I never figured out what to do with it in my first playthrough either.

I think I remember using a key to open a chest in the back by the dork who tells you the oath. Dunno if it was that key though. And nothing of value was inside the chest, anyways.

Is it related to getting into the tower in Heritage Hill???

Really it shouldn't be related to getting into anything.  The whole point of the Leaden key as a name is because they snap, and no one can get in the door.
