Hello

I've noticed a few times that before my party spots a hidden object I can see it - it is usually pink and quite distinctive.

Is this normal?It just seems to be giving the game away.

Sometimes I can see that there is an object but my mechanics level isn't high enough to spot it so I can't do anything about it.

That's just how it works. If your character can notice the hidden object it will be highlighted for you, if not you can't use (or loot) it even if you as the player know it is there - because no one in the party does.

If it is about hiden obect to loot from ground you may sneak. It works in some cases.

having high perception helps.

 

a rare problem that often occurs, especially if the discovered area is really small, it cannot be looted.  =S

From my understanding is that if u have a high enough mechanics score, certain thresholds will automatically become visible without having to sneak/tab look. Basically walking around "taking a 10".

Above threshold is still invisible/visible when sneak/tab.

So basically once ur mechanics get high, low level traps/hidden objects will be visible without having to search for them (u still have to go sneak mode to loot/disable) whereas u still have to sneak/tab search for the higher level traps/hidden objects.

It's a bug that was "introduced" in 2.03. If you press the tab key the hidden containers will be slightly highlighted in pink although they shouldn't. It's a confirmed bug and will be fixed.

Ow they should keep it in.

Hehehe. There are some other bugs that are more like features I would like to keep.
