April 1, 201510 yr I mean..it's only 5 extra copper per stronghold turn. I kind of wonder what I would have gotten if I hadn't chosen that dialogue option.
April 1, 201510 yr Per stronghold turn? That is awful, given turns only move when you complete quests.
April 1, 201510 yr Dilemma: how to interject a fun, somewhat useful easter egg into the game without disrupting balance or borking the economy. Oh, and do it without causing some people to bitch. Can't? Oh well.
April 1, 201510 yr Author Dilemma: how to interject a fun, somewhat useful easter egg into the game without disrupting balance or borking the economy. Oh, and do it without causing some people to bitch. Can't? Oh well. The point is that it's not somewhat useful. It's not useful at *all*. 5 copper every quest makes literally no difference of any sort; it might as well not exist as far as game effects goes. Fun easter egg, maybe; cool lore, perhaps; but for a quest reward where you have to sacrifice some other reward to get it, it's not cool.
April 1, 201510 yr sacrificing what reward? i remember getting that when asking for extra or something like that
April 1, 201510 yr Author I only got the option to ask for extra after I had turned down taking her money.
April 1, 201510 yr There are plenty of funny but useless items like that in the game. There's even one in the opening area. I think they're backer-created items. I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress. Find it here: www.brikoleur.com
April 1, 201510 yr Can you stick that on a party member that you mostly keep in the keep, or does it only work on the protagonist? I mean it's still not particularly useful but that's how I'd use it.
