from what i can tell, the area of the game is close to the equator on the southern hemisphere (an analogy would be somewhere around central brazil in our world) so probably not, unless they have areas on top of a very high mountain

The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder.

What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past?

Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born!

We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.

Hehe, do you miss Icewind Dale? I'll admit, there is some nostalgia in snowy scenes!

I'm always lured to good-looking snow in games. Snow feels comforting and serene. And the potential for gorgeous snow-experiences in PoT's 2D-art environments is massive.

There is a snowy region in the game world called "The White That Wends". Basically the south pole of the world. If all goes well with PoE, I'm pretty sure we'll go there some day for some olde schoole Icewind Dale-y times. Even if it's just for an expansion.

Nothing gold can stay.

Snow tellin', really. 6_u

:) I hope so, though. I love icy environments in games. I do not know why.

Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u

Durgan's Battery is in the mountains, in White March. If we happen to visit that location at some point (it's a legendary location that they must have written for a reason) it might be at a high enough elevation for snow.
