The game doesn't deal with multi-monitor edge scrolling very well. In order to activate scroll on the second monitor side, you need to carefully hover over the edge until scrolling activates. You should be able to throw the mouse over to that side and have it stop at the barrier between monitors while activating scroll.

I came to post the exact same thing. It's especially annoying if you accidentally click, because then it alt tabs you. (And without pausing, so if you're, say, in the middle of your first battle trying to figure out how combat works...)

I experienced the same issue. One has to be quite precise to activate mouse-pushed scrolling where dual monitors butt up against each other.
