Austria's official language is German, what most of Austrians speak, of course there are some differences between Germany's German and Austria's German as there are between British English and South African English, but most part you are understood in both countries regardless which version you speak.
July 11, 201411 yr Author Austrian German is a lot like Bavarian German. Austrian German spoken in Tirol doesn't count though. I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.
