If you want to have an in depth discussion on video game coverage start a thread in an appropriate forum.

Fair enough.  Truth is it was getting off topic the actual point anyway since it wasn't about video games coverage, it was about how metacritic should not be used to judge how good a game is 14 years after it's release.

Metacritic shouldn't be used now. 14 years ago reviews had a higher chance of being clean.
