November 9, 201312 yr As you know, backers who pledged for a $165 or higher tier for Project Eternity are to receive a copy of Wasteland 2 when that game is released. Yesterday, all backers of Wasteland 2, and all backers of Torment: Tides of Numenera who pledged for a Wasteland 2 tier or add-on for that game, received a key for the original Wasteland, redeemable on Steam or GOG. Will the Project Eternity backers get that too?
November 9, 201312 yr I doubt it. Wasteland 1 was a specific reward for the Wasteland 2 kickstarter campaign.

November 9, 201312 yr If you want that key I will be more than happy to give you mine. I have no interest in playing Wasteland 1.

November 9, 201312 yr Hmmm. I backed the Torment kickstater and threw in an extra $25 for a copy of wasteland 2 as an add-on ... I'm guessing I'm not eligible for that W1 key unless I had picked a reward tier that specifically mentions W2? Oh well.

No, you are eligible. Go here: https://torment.inxile-entertainment.com/login If it's not available, contact inXile and they'll give you a key. Edited November 9, 201312 yr by Infinitron

November 10, 201312 yr Ok, I sent them a message, I will post what they say when they get back to me.
November 10, 201312 yr I managed to figure it out, I've already got my key. Remember: Argue the point, not the person. Remain polite and constructive. Friendly forums have friendly debate. November 11, 201312 yr Not really concerned if we don't get it with Project Eternity. It was never promised or updated later if PE backers would get it. And it's on gog anyway if you want it. At any rate, I've already received my Wasteland 1 key with my Wasteland 2 pledge. Will have to look into my Torment pledge.
November 12, 201312 yr i got the torment + wasteland 2 tier and they sent me an email today for the wasteland 1 key. The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder. -Teknoman2- What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past? Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born! We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.
