Hypevosa
So all I really want is a cloth map in addition to my digital download - I find I always do nothing with all the other junk that comes with and takes up space, and I'd up my donation by up to 40 bucks to get one by itself. I don't want to pay $120 to get the map and tons of stuff I won't use. anyone else in my boat?
Loc Nar
Yep, right there with you, and I registered just to tell you. I was disappointed to see that the cloth map was not available as an add on. Like you, I don't see enough value in the $140 level contrib to get the cloth map. So, rather than kicking in for the downloadable plus a cloth map add on (wish I could!), I'm just going to wait and see whether a physical box down the road has one (for less than $140). Ieo
Auction the physical stuff you don't want. The KS Collector's Edition does not include the Collector's Book. SarcasmoTheGreat
So would Obsidian have met their $3.5 million goal already if they weren't spending a bunch of money sending out DVDs, shirts, and other goods that many people don't actually want? I had to ask. Edited October 15, 2012 by SarcasmoTheGreat
Hypevosa
Auction the physical stuff you don't want. Unless this game becomes the game of the new century, I have doubts about all of the (unwanted) swag aside from the map bringing more than $40 back. Just saying I can't be the only one who would donate more for just a cloth map, if we need/want extra cash to reach 3.5m, selling cloth maps at $40 or so each would likely result in alot of donations. I may roll a d20 the hour before the kickstarter ends and up to collector's edition if I critical, but aside from that, I'll stick with my $20 tier :\

axan22
Im really glad they did not offer the cloth map/patch as add ons as they were pasrt of the collectors box, i dont mind these been included in the collectors box set at retail but to make them an add on makes people who ordered the collectors edition at $140 or above wonder why. yes i was pledging to amke the game and not just for the goods but the goods made me pledge way way than i would for any other game i speant over £200 on this game but its all worthwhile. Boatmurder
I will probably paint my own. Maps are fun, but not for 95$. (or 85, as i'm came in at the 35 mark). Before shipping to Europe. Edited October 17, 2012 by Boatmurder
