October 10, 201213 yr Projected Image on a Sorcerer, about the most unbalanced thing in the game. Say hello to my little Planar army Nothing is true, everything is permited.
October 10, 201213 yr Timestop felt great when you finally got it. Recently discovered sunburst which is kinda nifty Flesh to stone and disintegrate are also kind of fun but most high levels save and it destroys their stuff. So favourite is probably bigbys crushing hand. Conjure a giant fist to pound enemies. Whats not to like?
October 10, 201213 yr Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting i almost cried when first time i used it. Love at first sight! Chain contingency : who ordered 3 fireballs ? Chain contingency : who ordered 3 ABI-DALZIM'S HORRID WILTINGS? :D Time stop has always been close to my heart in IE games. The spell that gave me the most epic / powerful feeling was Improved Alacricity, being able to cast spells without any pause between them was so SWEET!
October 10, 201213 yr The Planescape: Torment ones had the best effects ever. In fact, I haven't seen a single game since then that made magic look nicer. ✔ Certified Bat Food
October 10, 201213 yr Swarm Curse or Axe of Torment in PS:T, one for effectiveness and one for cool visuals and flavour. For BG1, Mirror Image. In BG 2 there was also Cloudkill and Acid Fog which were good fun. For IWD I'd go with the elemental summoning spells just because the elementals looked cool in it.
October 10, 201213 yr Damage dealing spells are nice. But i always prefer special spells such: - Mesmerize - Creature domination - Creature conjuration - Dispel magic - Reflect magic
October 10, 201213 yr Otiluke's Resilient Sphere was also sweet. Send your weakest party towards the enemy. Let them surround him/her. Otiluke's resilient sphere followed by every AoE spell you had centered on the cluster of hapless enemies. Good times. They think my style strange, I think they all the same.
