Are the people in the know laughing at how way off most of these speculations, predictions and assertions are?

DAWUSS

Dawes ain't too bright. Hitting rock bottom is when you leave 2 tickets on the dash of your car, leave it unlocked hoping someone will steal them & when you come back, there are 4 tickets on your dashboard.

You need to ask?

Of course! Why else do they do these countdown type thingies?

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Sadists.

It's all a ruse. There is no project yet, they're just waiting for us to come up with the best idea.

The book unread is unwritten. The reason we don't explain it is the reason we use it. Its power is in its mystery.

Of course they are -- I'm positive it is just Obsidian showing us their marvelous, fantasy, web countdown app. We all just mistook it for something else.

I think they built a fully automated, cryptic sentence building program that spouts out plot points at a rate of 500 lines a minute and just needed a gimmick to show it off with.

It's name would of course be Ourobouros! Named that because it writes lines, reads them over, and uses them as inspiration for the next thing it writes.

Mmh... well I know some of the craziest speculation amused me. Then again, "in the know" might be slightly exaggerated.

Nope, they're too busy slapping themselves on the forehead for not thinking of all this stuff themselves.
