Yeah, this is old news. We don't know if they're "working" on it right now because last time we heard Red Eagle was trying to fund the project first.

I know this information has been around, at least on a rumor basis, for quite some time. But AFAIK, this is the first time a public statement was made towards them actually working on it.

That's not really a public statement? It's a second-hand source. If you check the original press release, it mentions nothing about the Wheel of Time. Same with the GI snip.

Yes, don't get your hopes up. After all those same guys announced their plans for WoT movies and series years ago. I'm still waiting for those to actually happen.
