Hi All,

Recently I noticed some of my item upgrades seemed to have no effect. Well it seems that although in the equip screen it shows a given DPS or other stat it shows a different stat in the character select window.

Furthermore, using RB (on PC with XBOX360 controller) to navigate through the equipment slots changes the displayed stat.

Anyone else seen this phenomenon? I assume it is a bug or item issue but unfortunately there seems to be no way to tell if an item has a problem until after you have purchased it!

I took a video of the behavior and posted it here:

Cheers.

definitely a bug. shouldnt do that. cant say ive noticed it on my pc version but then i never looked.

does it actually effect the stats screen or ingame you feel the abilities arent hitting as hard if you quit the equip menu when the ability is on the low value?

The stats screen is affected.

I felt some of the time the character was a bit lacking in attack DPS, didn't realise why at the time. Not enough to notice until I equipped the gold weapon and watched the stats drop.

EDIT:

Closed and restarted the game, and rolled a new character. The first item dropped showed the issue.

This (at least on my PC) is repeatable, not save game related, and unavoidable. Bit of a game breaker for me.

It's not a bug. It's your ability dps with your 2nd stance.

Care to elaborate? I was not aware cycling through the inventory changed your stance.

In your inventory you see the weapons for both of your stances. Normally the higher ability dps weapon is on the first slot in the inventory and the last two slots are used for the not-so-high ability dps weapons (In Lucas case 1h sword + shield, for Kat shotgun+pistol). So when you scroll up there to check those slots it will you show you what your ability dps will be in that stance using those weapons.

Ok, that makes sense. However the main stats window only shows one "stat" or one "DPS" or whatever. At the moment, its showing the lowest for me.

Perhaps it would have been better if they had those two stances in different colors on the main stats window (character select for equip screen).

Am I right in saying the only way to confirm stats for both stances is to enter the equip screen for that character?

No, the main stats window has a toggle to switch between stances.

Read the bottom bar of the main menu and it shows you all the buttons you can press to do stuff; one of them, Y on controller, switches stances so you can check the stats. You can also check chaos stats, etc.

wow, i didn't know that ty .
