Good news! It's also available on two other platforms.

 

Oh and it was most certainly worth it, New Vegas sold over 1.5 million units in its first week with around 5 million shipped in total. Making it Obsidian's most successful game to date.

I don't much care for other platforms or options, but if it ensures vociferous encouragement/engagement, I'm there.

I do not LIEK that I have to have a persistent internet connection (STEAM) to play a PC game. Wasn't like that last time. Won't ever buy a STEAM game again. Not w/o royalties.

 

That said, there is a lot to love about this game.

It's funny.. It takes longer for me to login to Steam than it takes to load the actual game. Steam actually triples the time it takes to start up a game for me.

That said, there is a lot to love about this game.

 

You don't need a permanent internet connection. I have just been 2 weeks without an internet connection at all, and I was playing Steam games the whole time.

Yup. Thanks to British Telecom* ignoring my problems my internet had been down quite a bit. Yet Steam works more or less without causing issues.

Random aside: either we had a small earthquake tremor, or my house is shaking for some other reason. Hope it's tanks.
