Cybersquirt Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I saw your influence in the dialogue but lost it in STEAM I hope the relationship with Bethesda is worth it.
Purkake Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) Good news! It's also available on two other platforms. Oh and it was most certainly worth it, New Vegas sold over 1.5 million units in its first week with around 5 million shipped in total. Making it Obsidian's most successful game to date. I don't much care for other platforms or options, but if it ensures vociferous encouragement/engagement, I'm there.
Cybersquirt Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 I do not LIEK that I have to have a persistent internet connection (STEAM) to play a PC game. Wasn't like that last time. Won't ever buy a STEAM game again. Not w/o royalties. That said, there is a lot to love about this game.
Tigranes Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Steam does suck, but you can use Offline Mode. Hopefully. Unless Steam bugs out on you. mkreku Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 It's funny.. It takes longer for me to login to Steam than it takes to load the actual game. Steam actually triples the time it takes to start up a game for me. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

I have just been 2 weeks without an internet connection at all, and I was playing Steam games the whole time. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. Cybersquirt Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) "..offline mode.." What's this? I don't see anything in the settings for this... Edited February 1, 2011 by Cybersquirt
Bos_hybrid Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 When logged onto Steam, top left tab named Steam>Go Offline.
Walsingham Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Yup. Thanks to British Telecom* ignoring my problems my internet had been down quite a bit. Yet Steam works more or less without causing issues. ~~~ Random aside: either we had a small earthquake tremor, or my house is shaking for some other reason. Hope it's tanks. * More than 50 mentions, you bastards "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe.
