sviggo Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I posted this over at the Sega forums too as I didn't realise the devs had a forum as well. But anyway.... Did they do this deliberately or is it a bug/glitch? It needs sorting out. It looks stupid for starters. You buy a sight for a rifle. You can buy the usual 2x scope or quick aim holographic/red dot type sight. No matter which you pick though it puts them both on the gun at the same time. Like this: No matter whether you choose a basic rifle sight like the front one or a proper scope like the back one, it still puts them both on the gun at the same time. It even does it if you don't even own one of each. And yes it does it in gameplay. For a game that heavily features weapon customisation this seems quite unforgivable. Can we get a word on this please? What's the deal with it?
Morgoth Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Yeah, it's a total deal breaker. I suggest stop playing now and return the game. Rain makes everything better.

Klemer Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Actually though those types of sights together is kinda odd, its common to have two different styles of sights mounted on a battle rifle. When I was in Afganistan, during the night we would mount night vision scopes and aimpoints together.

Hell if you tried this in real life then the front sight would just be blocking the view of the rear sight anyway with it's fixture/casing...
mrmumbles Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Granted, it may not be the exact same, but this is a viable sight setup. The only thing I really see wrong with it is that it happens all the time.
Hathur Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 The concept is fine - the art team merely designed the night scope incorrectly. Conceptually it works and is used like this in the military.... though that night scope in the pic was just drawn / designed improperly.
